Little 4th gave his brother a chastising look before turning to Li Xiuying: ”Big Sister YingYing, you haven't tried the pot-stickers they're really delicious. The spring rolls are also good. ”

Li Xiuying turned her attention back to the food. She took a bite of the spring roll 'It's pretty good.'

Little 4th breathed a sigh of relief when his big sister didn't say anything. He thought to himself 'rescuing big brother is hard work'.

He was about to continue happily eating when he heard his brother speak.

Qin Song tried to rectify the situation: ”Dr. Li I didn't mean anything negative by my earlier comment. I just meant that the women I usually spend time with eat in a very delicate and lady like manner and they also eat very little.”

Li Xiuying put down her chopsticks and spoke coldly: ”And the way I eat is inelegant, unladylike and in huge quantities?”

Qin Song: ”Dr. Li you've misunderstood. You eat in a very precise way. I assume you operate the same way. You do eat quite a large amount especially for someone of your size. I only meant your appetite is very large for someone so small.”

Qin Jingfei and Little 4th stared with their mouths wide open.

Qin Song noticed the expressions of his family member and explained further: ”Dr. Li perhaps I haven't made my point clearly. I meant that you would expect someone of your size who has the appetite that you do to be larger in girth.”

Qin Song received an elbow to his ribs from Qin Jingfei and a kick to his knee form little 4th.

Li Xiuying reached for her purse took out some cash and slapped it on the table.

Li Xiuying said coldly: ”My large appetite and I will be leaving.”

Little 4th: ”Big sister YingYing don't take any notice of big brother.”

Li Xiuying patted little 4th's head and then stormed off.

Little 4th spoke to Qin Song coldly: ”Big Brother are you an idiot?”

Qin Jingfei: ”Was there a need for you to comment about her appetite and eating habits? Also why did you have to bring up the many women in your life? ”

Little 4th: ”Big Brother you don't know how to talk to girls. Mommy told me you should never compare one girl to another and you definitely shouldn't comment about her weight directly or indirectly this includes diet.”

Qin Jingfei: ”May be you should take some lessons on how to interact with the opposite sex from aunt?”

Qin Son: ”I know how to talk to women. I don't need any help in that department.” Qin Song was usually a smooth talker. He just couldn't understand why Li Xiuying always misunderstood the meaning behind his words.

Qin Song was just saying that it was a refreshing change to see a woman who didn't eat like a bird. He thought that Li Xiuying used her chopsticks with a unique precision that was graceful. What was wrong in him expressing his thoughts? He was clearly complementing Li Xiuying.

What Qin Song failed to see was that his thoughts and what he verbalized were clearly two different entities.

Little 4th pointed his chopsticks at Qin Song: ”Big brother you're on a timeout!” He was going to give his eldest brother the silent treatment. Little 4th didn't resume eating but played with the spring rolls on his plate looking very unhappy.

Li Xiuying couldn't believe the nerve of Qin Song. Why was he insulting her time and time again? First he called her an allergy and now he said she was unladylike, inelegant and that she eats too much!

Li Xiuying made a mental note to make sure she avoided Qin Song in the future.

Li Xiuying put her irritation and annoyance at Qin Song to the back of her mind.

She stood in front of the door to private suite 8 and collected herself. Li Xiuying knocked on the door.

The Patient: ”Come in.”

Li Xiuying entered.

The Patient: ”Ah Dr. Li please take a seat. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?”

Li Xiuying sat down: ”Director Zhang, I predict that my family will be coming to the hospital tomorrow. I would like you to inform Li Yu Yan of her admission.”

Li Xiuying knew that after the event with Li Na the Li family would rally together and want to teach her a lesson. Additionally, the Chen family's plan to force her back to Emerald hospital had failed causing the Li family's belief in them to slowly diminish.

Director Zhang looked at Li Xiuying thoughtfully: ”Yes. I've never seen the happy face of a student when they get told of their acceptance. I'm sure it will be quite the experience.” His words contained a deeper a meaning.
