10 First Day at New House (1/2)

Description of House

As you enter from the front gate you could see a shoe rack at the side of the entrance

and a staircase at the left side attached to the wall.

On the right side, we had a door for combined dining and living room with an open well-furnished kitchen on the rear side.

We had a dining table near the kitchen and some space in between then sofas on the living side facing Television.

Living cum dining room was decorated with flower pots at the corners.

Behind staircase we had two rooms one in which I used to live at my school days, and one for my parents. Alongside room there was a toilet and a bathroom.

On the first floor we had two rooms, one rooms just above the living area and one room on the staircase side.

We didn't had any toilets or bathroom on the first floor so for accessing toilet one had to come to ground floor

The room that Ana got was pretty spacious, but she had to share her room with her little sis.

In her room, there was a double bed covered with a beautiful bed spread

Next to it was a small square table with a cup and a pitcher filed with water upto the brim.

Opposite to bed there was a window and near window there was a desk and chair for studying.

We also had a garden, where I along side with mom used to do gardening on weekends.

When Ana said all that I was stunned. I didn't know what to say at that time so I was quite.

She saw me quite and said ” Sorry, looks like I bored you with my story.

I really am not good with words. ”

I then suddenly replied ” No! I was not bored at all. ”

But then to encourage her I said ” That was all past, and you still have a fresh life ahead of you,

Never let past takedown your future. ”

After listening to that, she was all better.

”Thanks ” she said that smiling cheerfully.

That smile, again that smile which made my heart skip a beat.

That smile was same as when we met for the first time. That cheerful smile always makes my heart race.

That day I felt like I could do anything to bring that smile on her face.

Now that smile was one of those little things in my life that became important for me.

Her sister then suddenly came and said

” Big brother was this your room?”

Her sister was 8 years and was in 3rd grade.

I bend towards her, kept my hands on her head and replied politely with a changed tone

” Oh yeah it was, but now it's all yours. You can play all your games that like.”

” Really!” she replied enthusiastically.

I then asked, ” what's your name, little princess.” I asked that in a childish tone.

She replied ” My name is Sally.”

I then praised her by saying, ” Sally that such a cute name,”

Ana was looking happy, it would have been tough to shift if a family member is a kid.

It could affect childhood seriously, and maybe she might do the same mistakes as Ana did by not making friends. Keeping that in mind I started to bond with Sally and I easily bonded with her.

” So will you come to play with us, with me and sis Ana ” she said that with an innocent face. I could not just reject her so I said yes of course, but then I realized I'll be with Ana when we will be playing together and that made me wait for the opportunity to play together with them.

I then left the room by saying

” Ok take your time to arrange the room, I'll leave now.”

At noon we all sat together to have our lunch.
