I was displeased by her decision but then I asked: ” What are your reason mom?”

She replied ” There is a colleague at work, she is really upset right now.

She just took a divorce because her husband was physically abusing her and her daughter. Her husband always got home drunk and for no reason he starts thrashing them.

Her husband left his job and for running home she started doing job at our company.

When I first met her I thought she was just a gloomy lady but when we got to know each other she told me her story.

She recently shifted to our town and currently lives at her mother' house.

But she cannot live there for ever, she was asking for a place where she and her family can live at low rent.

I was moved by her spunk and said why don't you live at our place.

She then said ' I can not bother you any more. I am already under your debt. You helped me a lot but I can not just be a burden at you.

I said to her that you will not be a burden. Our first floor is already free and in our house, there's just me and my son. I told her about my husband as well that he works abroad and he comes once in every 6 months for a few days, and he will be happy to help you.

She somehow agreed to live here but she said I'll give you rent, I won't feel good if you don't take rent from me.

I agreed on taking rent and I could see that she was relaxed after finding a home to live and I was happy helping her.

So this is the reason, I want you to shift to your old room”

After listening to mom I said ” No problem at all mom, you could have just told that earlier.

Also I am proud of you mom ”

My mom then started laughing and said

” Great, they will shift this Saturday so, since you are free on Saturday why don't you help them with shifting. ”

”Okay” I replied quickly and finished my dinner .

Since I was thinking about shifting my room I forgot what all happened today, I was tired from shifting my room. When I went to my new room I just jumped on my bed and fell asleep.

Next day was Friday, it was just like other days, Ria asked many questions as always and I went home with Richy. I didn't see Ana, maybe she was busy with her practice. I went home had my dinner, completed my assignments and went straight to bed.

Next day was Saturday and it was my holiday. I always slept till 8 on Saturdays and Sundays but my mom went mad that day, she came to my room and said ” The other day you said you will help them in shifting but today you are just lazing around. Just wake up and eat your breakfast ”

I then remembered that my mom colleague was going to shift today, I rushed outside the room brushed my teeth and ate my breakfast. It was already 10 by that time.

*Ting Tong, Ting Tong*

I heard the sound of the bell so I ran to open the door, there what I saw shook me from head to toe.
