Be with another or have a slow and antagonizing death.

The latter was something I'd never do. I wouldn't leave her once I'd just found her.

But I dread of the moon rising on the horizon since that meant that my hunger came out and I couldn't force myself on her. Not when I started to gain her trust.

The next blood moon we will be able to mate with one another but that will be in another six months. Plenty of time to grow acquainted with one another.

It was only then that I realized I never answered her question making me say, ”I have important business and I can't handle this at home. I've got to return and do it in person.” I spoke vaguely, not lying but not telling the truth. She nodded, leaning into me before letting me go and smiling at me.

”Okay. Will you be back by tomorrow night then?” She asks me with a small smile that warmed my heart but at the same time, broke it.

Oh how much I wanted to tell her my worries and thoughts.

”I don't think so, but I will let you know,” I tell her, leaning down and pressing a small kiss on her forehead. ”Continue your training, little one. I've got to make a few more things before leaving tonight.” She flinched at my words staring at me with confusion and hurt.

”Leaving tonight...? Why are you so eager t-to leave?” She questions in a heartbreaking tone making me smile sadly.

”I didn't mean tonight. I meant early in the morning. The flight will be long and I want to be as quick as I can so I can return here.” I tell her, my words making a smile come back on her soft features.

”Oh. You scared me for a moment, Dylan.” She hugged me once again before saying, ”I thought you didn't want me anymore.”

I watched him walk away with a laugh at my thoughts, a.s.suring me lots of times that he wanted me more than anything in the world. He deflected my questions with soft, sweet sayings

Surprisingly, all were me which made me warm and fuzzy inside.

He was so perfect.

”You sure you like him, Kho?” Agalana asks me, tossing her guns into the air. There was wariness in her eyes that made me unsettled but I trusted my Dylan. He would never hurt me in any way.

He just couldn't.

”Of course. He says we are mates and I do feel very, very connected.” I blushed furiously when realizing my words, shaking my head frantically. ”That's not what I meant! We've never-”

”Oh, we know. You are far too innocent.” Hrudra bluntly says, annoyed that her sparing buddy ditched her while I stuck my tongue out at her.

”How do you know?” I challenge, lifting one of my brows. ”I know what kissing and hand-holding is!” I exclaim, both women shared a look before cracking up in laughter. Agalana was on the ground dying from dry laugher while Hrudra covered her palm over her mouth, clearly laughing at me as well.

”Jesus Christ, Kho! I knew you were innocent but you do know what s.e.x is right?” Agalana questions, my face running beat red.

”Of course! Oh my G.o.d!” I screeched covering my face in embarra.s.sment.

”Do we need to have the s.e.x talk? So when a man and a women love each other. The man puts his-”

”Stop! Please shut up!” I scream covering my ears from Hrudra's explanation only making them grow delirious from laughter once again. This was so embarra.s.sing!

They both picked and nagged at me for another few more minutes before they couldn't laugh anymore. I wasn't even upset at them messing with me, happier that they didn't call me dumb for not knowing many things like other girls had before.

”No but seriously. You do know what like oral and stuff like that is right?” Agalana asks me but that word didn't have any meaning to me making each women sharing an evil look.

”My dear, Kho. You have much to learn. This cold beast has urges as well, and are met primarily by vampires. You know they are rough in-”

”Don't finish that!” I screech yet again, each woman chuckling at my shyness.

”Once we're done with you. You won't be shy and will be informed on how to keep that demon of yours in your claws. Come.” Hrudra waves, slipping her blade away when Agalana grabbed my arm and pulled me along.

”We should introduce her to p.o.r.n. You know what this is, right?” Agalana asks while I blushed and looked away. ”Lord have mercy on you, child.” She says in a joking tone making me laugh and pat her arm.

”You can show me what you wish but it better not be inappropriate,” I warn them, a snicker leaving Hrudra when Agalana patted my arm.

”I promise.” She winked at me with a deceitful smile making me gulp and hope for the best.
