I groaned, feeling the weight in my eyes slowly lift when I looked around and noticed I was laying down on the bed. A familiar face hovered over my face, a large grin plastered on her face.

”You, the dark prince of the demons, taken by a 'wee little witch.' Hilarious.” Pairs snickered before flickering her finger onto my hurting temple. ”You, my dear brother, are dumb as f.u.c.k.” She insults making me glared up at her and slowly sit up from the bed.

Cade searched for Khole's scent but smelt nothing in the room making our spirits go down. I may not want her as a mate, but Cade was half of me so when he was upset I was as well.

”Please leave me be, Pairs. I am not in the mood for your insults and words.” I growl, remembering how I ended up in this position. A slow smile rose on my face at Khole's sudden ferocity and I was surprised that I was more attracted to her now that she has not only harmed me but knocked me unconscious.

She is a very interesting woman now...

”Are you moody because your mate hit you? Boohoo.” She says in a baby voice and jumped away from me when I got out of bed. ”See you later, big bro! Don't get zapped with that electricity again or I'm not dragging you inside again.” Pairs winks before left the room with an urgency that I didn't understand.

Not that I cared.

I wanted to see the little wee woman right now.

'You can't see her. Nava can tell if it is you or I speaking with her. Don't forget we need to-'

'I am not following those stupid rules.' I scoff, curious about what I'd find Khole doing right at the moment. A prince shouldn't need permission to see what is his.

Yes...

I will claim this wee woman merely because her strength excited me. After I claim her, I will leave her and not have this mate bond affecting me.

Cade growled at my thoughts but I didn't care at the moment. The wee witch's smile was still implanted into my mind and I thought of dirty things I could do to her small little mouth.

There won't be much time until the blood moon pa.s.ses and we need to have mated before then. Or else I'd take her by force and I knew that Cade would do nothing to stop that from happening.

Me on the other hand...

I will be selfish with the little witch and eat her alive.

Literally and figuratively.

I marched down the hallway, not caring that the others could hear me while I noticed a familiar wolf standing outside of the witch's room. No doubt waiting for me to awaken and go to her.

”You know better, Dylan. Go away, my mate is in there right now with Khole.” Zavier growls at me in a dangerous way as I was about to tell him to f.u.c.k off, someone ran up behind me.

”Wow, Cade! You must be so worried about Khole or else I'd keep up with you! Come on. Faye is just speaking with her about what happened earlier with Dylan. My Alpha, may we enter to consul Khole?” Nava asks breathlessly when she grabbed my arm in a tight squeeze.

Was this her way of saying shut up in front of her Alpha?

I remained quiet, not saying a word when Zavier narrowed his eyes into mine and stared at me for a long moment. He was challenging me and he knew that if I was in control I'd tackle him down, but I tamped down my inner urge to remain in power and continued staring back.

It was strong to remain still, but the thought of seeing Khole once again was stronger.

Strange but true.

”Fine. Keep your eye on him.” He told Nava, letting us enter making both of us release a sigh in relief. We entered the room with a soft knock as I entered first and saw Faye sitting on the bed and Khole staring out the window.

The bandage around her eyes was removed, revealing the gorgeous purple orbs that watched us entered. She saw me, her tense muscles relaxing a bit making me noticed the awkward atmosphere.

”Nava. Cade. I-It's nice to see you b-both.” She's back to stuttering once again, though the hard look in her eyes enticed me and give her a small smile and nod to her. It seemed like she was pleased by the silent acknowledgment.

That was before Nava opened her mouth.

”What are you both talking about?” Nava questions probably for me as I flashed her a thankful look.

”We were-”

”S-She wants me to see a s-seer.” Khole cuts her off causing a frown to stretch on both ladies faces. She glanced over at me once again, her eyes trained on my head. ”Are y-you alright-t? Th-There's blood on your head.” Her words didn't register to me as I blinked at her beauty.

She was wearing a loose white s.h.i.+rt that went down to her slim hips, the baggy light washed jeans had tears in them. Her luscious pale skin was revealed and made Cade drool like a puppy, the purple in her eyes was a soft violet but turned darker with another emotion that I was unsure about.

Her soft natural blonde curls reached to the middle of her back and complimented her high cheekbones that looked as if she had the widest smile. Granted that she does.

I couldn't help my gaze to drift to her b.r.e.a.s.t.s. They were smaller than Nava's and Faye's, however with the size and shape of her body. It was perfect and looked like I could juggle them if I wished too.

When I wished too...

Though there was one thing I was worried about.

I nodded to her question before glancing around for a writing pad and motioning to her where one would be. She seemed dazed for nearly a moment, raking her eyes over my face once again when walking to the desk and handing me what I needed.

I wrote down my question and held it back to her, the other women looking between each other in a strange way. Khole read the question, blus.h.i.+ng before grabbing another pen and handing it back after she wrote down her answer.

I read her answer in disdain, not liking that she has not eaten at all today when I held up my finger and placed the note pad down and left the room. There was no way that I was going to allow her to not eat anymore today.

These people were truly savages, though I am not any better.

I hurried downstairs, noticing that Levi was making a pot of pasta for a few people. Without him noticing, I stole a bowl and hurried away before he could realize I took his food. I was halfway up the stairs when I heard him shriek in shock.
