Chapter 47: The training (1/2)
Ed's anger had caused him to forget the lid he had put on his KI. When he shouted he had let out KI filled with killing intent that everyone in the restaurant had felt. It was so thick an unlike anything they had felt before, they could feel their breath stopping between their lungs and their mouth.
”Let go of me!” Norris seemed like he couldn't bear it any longer and forcefully remove his hand from Ed's clutches. Ed had grabbed him so hard there were still finger bruises on his wrists.
”How dare you?!” Norris seemed enraged and drew his sword.
Ed could see that things would escalate fast and also summoned his Shusui. The moment the blade was taken out of its sheath, people could feel its lust for battle. People stepped back and maintained a safe distance from Ed; he was just too scary for now. Even Emilia and Hayato seemed like they couldn't believe who Ed was at this moment.
Suddenly Norris lunged forward and slashed at Ed, who easily intercepted his attack and pushed him away making him smash against a wall. It seemed like he forgot he had to lay low according to his plans due to his anger from Norris' threat. Some people couldn't believe what had just happened; the beast woman was one of them. She had 'fought' against Ed before and in her eyes, he was just a weakling, yet now he handled someone from A class with ease. Norris' results were enough to make him at the top of the academy so he was considered to be very powerful.
”You bastard! It seems you want to die!” Norris emerged from the smoke and pounced at Ed seemingly wanting to kill him. Ed was prepared and was about to fatally injure him, people like this never learn and would pursue Ed for all of his academy life.
When the two were about to clash once more a figure darted from afar and got in between them. Ed noticed this and stopped his sword while Norris didn't seem to care, or just didn't notice and slashed his sword. The figure caught the sword and pushed Norris back.
”That's enough from the both of you” It was Harry Ed's teacher. Ed knew this man was powerful so he wasn't surprised while many students from E class had some doubts about him. These doubts were almost all cleared away because of this incident.
”Students cannot fight without any authorization. You can engage in duels that are overseen by teachers or just wait for the school tournament to fight to your heart's content” Harry suddenly introduced some new elements of the academy to Ed and Norris, as well as the surrounding students.
”You're lucky you were saved, failed prince” Norris's hate for Ed kept increasing every time they met. Ed's patience towards him was also reaching his limit and he would probably end up causing a war between their countries since he would probably kill him in case he tries to hurt one of his friends again.
Ed continued his meal in silence while Emilia and Hayato did not mention anything while eating. After finishing Ed suggested with a smile that they head back to classes. Seeing his smile made the other three feel relieved and chatted up again with him as if nothing had happened.
The afternoon classes were more theory classes and a physical class. The physical class this time only had some running; however, it was running across the entirety of the academy which made almost everyone drop to their knees.
