Chapter 46: The threat (1/2)

Goblin Upgraded into Hobgoblin.

Kobold Upgraded into High kobold.

The three monsters each had a sphere of light surround them. After emerging from it all of them changed drastically. The two goblins both had grown double their size. They were about a head shorter than Ed and their green color was now darker. The Kobold was now larger than standing at about 2 meters; his previous brown was now a shade of silver.

”System if I were to give them weapons, would they always have it when I summon them?” Ed had some things to confirm with the system.

[Yes they would count as being a part of the monster and stay with them even in their card form]

'Great!' Ed crushed some of the sword cards that he never used and gave one to each of the monsters.

”I'll be going to rest for now; I'll also recall you guys. Tomorrow we'll be training for a while so be ready” Ed recalled the three after they nodded confirming their understanding. He then summoned Suika and the two went to sleep.

Ed had formulated his plans for tomorrow but he would first have to pass a day in the academy. There were too many distractions but he had to stay here for a while at least before leaving.

Ed didn't sleep much as it was already late by the time he went to bed. However, he was used to a disturbed sleep schedule so it didn't affect him a lot.

In the morning, Ed woke up and washed his face. He also got Raikou and Suika to wake up and asked them what they wanted to do. Suika wanted to come with him while Raikou preferred to stay and sleep. It was understandable since he had nothing to do in the academy anyway and it would be too boring for him.

”I'll leave you some food over here” Ed got some food out and left it for Raikou since he wouldn't have anything to eat anyway.

Afterward, Ed left and headed to the academy. He met up with Hayato and Emilia on the way and they all started walking to the class. Suika and Emilia played on the road and passed the time walking that way while Ed and Hayato simply watched over them.

In a couple of minutes, they got to their class and entered, they sat in seats close to each other and Ed got the seat next to the window. 'It's like I'm the main character' Ed remembered the usual Clich of anime and how the MCS always sit next to the window.

After speaking for a while the teacher came and entered the room, immediately he noticed Suika and stared for a while before turning his attention back to the students. He had black hair and looked like lacked sleep as he had black circles under his eyes. He also seemed to be young at around 28 years old.
