Chapter 44: The dorm (2/2)

After getting the keys Ed and his friends chatted for a while until it was sundown. Ed offered for them to eat together and brought out some sandwiches again. These were different from this morning since they had minced meat and vegetables compared to chicken and lettuce.

The two were now already familiar with Ed so they didn't refuse and just ate. His cooking was also delicious so they couldn't complain anyway.

After finishing, everyone headed to their rooms. Tomorrow was the first day of school and they still had no idea what they would be studying so they wanted to rest early.

Ed got into his room and locked it. Suika who was him jumped around to explore. ”Raikou you can come out now” After confirming no one was around, Ed allowed Raikou to come outside. ”It's been hard on you” Ed patted Raikou on the head since he was trapped in his shadow for the whole day.

”Woof” However Raikou didn't seem to mind anyway.

Ed went to his bedroom and checked it out. He had a bed, a desk, and a closet. He took out some of his clothes and put them there since it would look unnatural without clothes. He also slept on the bed and he didn't have any complaints about it. He had spent a long time camping outside so he was used to bad sleeping.

Ed also set up the tent for Raikou so he wouldn't sleep on the floor. 'I'll have to buy him a big bed next time I visit the capital.

Ed also checked the kitchen and bath and didn't have any complaints. The bath was as big as the one in Alice's inn so it could hold all three of them without any issues. Ed filled it up and called Suika and Raikou to take a bath.

After coming out of the bath, the three relaxed and Ed cooked a simple steak dinner for them. Being full and clean they headed to sleep but Ed had one last thing to do.

”System, use the 10 Gacha tickets!”
