Chapter 45: The new swords (1/2)

” System use five Gacha tickets on weapons and 5 on Function gacha ” Ed had decided on what to draw and instructed the system.

Acquired Swordx2, Kunai, Shusui, Ame-No-Murakumo, Upgrade cardx5.

When Ed read the results, he was ecstatic. He now had all of the cards he had wanted to increase his strength even further. Ed inspected the two Katana he got and found out they were both of Legendary quality. Ed had never gotten any weapon worth mentioning from the Gacha but now he got two of them. And they were both Katana which he uses.

Shusui was a black katana with a white hardening line while its hilt was black with no accessories, Shusui didn't have any elemental attributes but it could amplify the power of any skills used by many folds.

Ame-No-Murakumo, on the other hand, was a greenish Katana which had the wind element infused in it. It had a forked tip which Ed thought he should change to make it into a more traditional Katana. It was plucked from the tails of a great dragon and its hilt forged from its bones.

Ed now had four Katana and only needed two of them or three after he was done today.

”System how many cards needed to upgrade Two-sword style?!” Ed planned his next steps accordingly to his Gacha rewards.

[The Two-sword style is an Epic skill so it needs two Upgrade cards to be upgraded even further] The system quickly gave its answer and Ed decided to use the two cards.

*Ding*

Two-sword style upgraded to Three-sword style.

Ed was now immersed in the new knowledge he had gotten from his upgraded sword skill. His understanding of the sword way improved even further and it could be said that he now had a newfound communication with the sword. It could be said that he can feel the life of the sword he had now.

”Suika, Raikou, I'm sorry but I will be requiring your help. We'll delay out sleep for a while” Ed asked his companions to follow him to the training room. When he got there he asked Suika to stay outside for a bit.

”Suika I'll be locking this room and charging my KI to the max, tell me if you can feel anything from the outside” Ed was still worried that other people might feel his KI as he didn't have full trust in this room yet.

”Suu~~!” Suika complied and waited outside.

Ed went in the room with Raikou and powered up to the max. He also asked Raikou to do the same since he was stronger than him and he wanted to test the limits of this room. Ed had trained enough with KI that now he had an aura around him when he powers up, this also allowed him to break the common sense of this world as he had an amount of QI that far surpasses his cultivation level.

After a dozen or so of seconds Ed opened the room and asked Suika for her report.

”Suu~~!” Suika had given her approval of the room so now Ed could go ahead with his plans with no worries.

Ed took out his blacksmithing materials and ignited his Fire magic. He also took out his Murata-Tou and Murasame. He was planning to re-forge these two Katana into an even stronger one.
