What appeared wasn’t a person.

It was a dazzling white horse that appeared behind the door. But it was just a small one that the only people that can rode on its back are children. All of its four hoofs are covered in small whirlwinds, indicating that it was a wind spirit.

The door might have opened because of the gust of wind.

「Ya~a, Rick. Did you obtain nice information? That being said, you’re a wind spirit so I was intending for you to just slip at the door」

「No, it’s just humans that can go in and out of the door. Then you just need to do it like how humans do」

「So serious as usual huh」

Is Leon a Spirit User too? It seems like this horse-like spirit is called Rick.

Urr greeted it 「h.e.l.lo」to get along with it. And then Rick-kun lowered its head as to reply, what a polite spirit.

To those words said, while following Reiss, I stopped my footsteps. Reiss who was leaving trying to avoid Rick, showed a concerned expression while listening and stopped moving.

Wind Spirits love gossips/rumors. So information spreads fast too.

「First, the last eight people that went missing haven’t been found, but a person who has witnessed one pf the disappearance appeared 」

「A lady from a bakery in Sedlan St. has seen his friend whose a Spirit User following a 『black b.u.t.terfly』. She got worried and followed her friend in haste but when she chased her friend just disappeared without a trace. After that, her friend never came back」

As I muttered those words, Reiss who was by my side reacted at my small muttering, I tapped his should and glanced at him. However, Reiss expressions remained cold and was unreadable. I need to stop being shocked.

「Black b.u.t.terfly huh—. Somehow, I heard it from somewhere. Black b.u.t.terfly……etto… I heard it from a certain『mission』……」
