「For a spirit, I’m still inexperienced. But for us spirits, 『black』is considered not a good sign. Uhm, forgive me, visitor. I didn’t mean anything bad with your hair color.」

Reiss nose twitched, Rick-kun then faced Reiss to apologize. Reiss remained silent.

It’s fine Rick-kun. This guy, he doesn’t even care so it’s fine!

「And then, about those the people that went missing, it was regardless of gender amd age, there is no common hint of who disappeared and how, but just yesterday a common point has been found out」

「About those eight people that went missing—?」

「Since they first prioritized investigating the connections and relations.h.i.+ps of the missing cases, they didn’t realize it was a blind spot. And the common thing about the disappearances is————it all happened at night, where the moonlight is strong」

Only up to that story of Rick-kun I heard.

As soon as Reiss said it was ridiculous, he immediately pulled me and took me outside shoving aside Rick-kun along the way.

It surprised me but most of all, the hand Reiss used to grab me was ice-cold, it sent s.h.i.+vers to me.

He then hurriedly released me but the cold feeling remained. I then held my hand but it was just the normal warmth of the skin.

Reiss then said 　「The sun will set soon, let’s return to look around the town」and just walked forward without saying anything.

Before chasing Reiss’ back in a hurry, I turned around and looked at the shop once more.  From the small opening of the door, pale fingers poked out and when I moved my sight, I saw Rick-kun’s silhouette.

When I saw his tail waving at me, I then continued chasing after that guy.

In the end, we returned to the church safely without encountering any danger before the sun set.

And like how we walk around, we also did it in the capital, buying sweets and food on the stall and eat while walking. I had fun looking at the scenery of the town. I also bought a laced hair-ornament for Rinze as an exchange gift for the chest she has given me. Since the church has given me money to use while touring around the town, I was careful not to overspend it.

Reiss just silently followed us without any complains. There was also the matter about the Licolla sleeping medicine and the black b.u.t.terflies that I want to ask Reiss but, I don’t want to kill the mood while touring so I just initiated light conversations with him.

There are a lot of things to worry about, but I’m glad we went out to have a breather.

It’s just that when I thanked Roa-kun at the hallway of the church connecting to the towers and said 「Thank you for watching over me during practices and asking Reiss the favor to take me out to have a breather」, but he just asked「? What are you talking about?」with a dumbfounded expression.

I wonder if he’s too busy that he forgot he asked a favor. After Roa-kun immediately left while carrying some papers. The latest information regarding the missing cases seems finally came and made the work increased.

It was already dark outside when I returned to my room to rest after dinner and a hot bath.

「Well then, I’ll place this inside  the box and give it later to Rinze」

I carefully took from the desk the hair-ornament I bought for Rinze. I haven’t taken out the 『Treasure Chest of Spirits 』from the bag, for the time being I’ll use it to place garments inside.

…….or to say that I haven’t yet sorted out the luggage that I brought. Unexpectedly, the days of the Spirit Princess on special training seems to be busy.

I sighed deeply and threw myself into the bed.

As the night breeze blew through the window I relaxed a bit. As I glanced up facing upwards I looked outside the dark night and didn’t see the moon that was hiding behind the clouds.
