Chapter 14

The day to go to town came.

I took my lunch in the church and then hurriedly change to dress up.

Unlike the orange flowing dress that I wore previously, this time I chose a pretty blouse, I wore it along with a tea-colored skirt that emits a calm aura. Though these are one of the clothings that I brought from home, I chose clothes that I can move with ease.

Is it fas.h.i.+onable? Just minimal, minimal.

On the other hand, wearing just a simple vest like he always do, it just p.i.s.sed me off that he looks like wearing some high-cla.s.s outfit.

On his neck, the spirit crystal that was given to him hanged. It seemed like after receiving it, it looked like it’s attached to the skin. And as I vaguely seen before, as I thought it was just a mistake.

The sky is clear with a fine sunny weather, the wind blowing my tea-colored hair felt comfortable.

Hearing Reiss say「Let’s go」, we promptly left the church.

Going to town, the scenery of the bustling and liveliness of the capital comes to view.

The serene ambiance of the church was not there, instead, the bustling noise made my heart skip a beat.

It seems the the street stalls and shops that caters on food and beverages has less costumers during daytime. There was a wooden signboard on a shop nearby with food menu, and as attracting costumers was a tiny bell like those on the church was being rang.

Even though this is my first time stepping foot here, as I thought it’s a lively town.

Along the crowd that are walking down the street, you can also see spirits.

I don’t if touching them might burn, but the fire spirits around look like turtles with scorching sh.e.l.ls.

Like Urr who had water-like tail, they’re like swimming about the air like other water spirits.

Wherever you glance, it looks fun.

「Here and there, it’s all interesting, Suu!」

「Yes」

Urr who was flapping his tail excitedly, seems like having fun.

Reiss was walking behind us with distance so he won’t lose us was just silently following and watching us. To be precise, it’s because he is wearing that spirit crystal.

The awkward atmosphere isn’t that much since it was by Roa-kun’s request that we are going out.

Was his heart being cleansed since he can now see spirits?

……No it’s not.

Ma~a, in the end it’s just my imagination.

Since it’ll just turn into a depressing att.i.tude, I’ll just imitate Urr that is raising his guard against Reiss.

「It’s not there, it’s here」

Reiss was pointing out the shops between an alley and a store, it was embarra.s.sing a having called out since I got lost in thought.

As he said that he has some business to attend here, I was just obediently following Reiss.
