143 Make Your Choice! (2/2)

The voice came from beside Will. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Not because he had aqua sense. In fact, according to aqua sense, there was nothing next to him. But he did remember the voice. Every time he did his right hand and left foot would hurt, even though that shouldn't be possible.

Will looked sideways, ”Hey 'Uncle Bas', nice of you to visit, you here to give me some candy?” Will placed emphasis on the 'Uncle Bas' to show that it was sarcasm.

Blue and Red heterochromatic eyes that seemed to suck the soul, long purple hair that seemed to boundless without end. A handsome face without so much as a scar, but he had a gaze that made you feel that he was a man born out of steel and blood. The acknowledged strongest mortal in existence. The current King of Titans. Sebastian Tirius!

”Will I already shared memories we spent together from my perspective, how else can I prove my identity to you.” The King of Titans, or rather 'Uncle Bas' affectionately rubbed Will's head. Will pushed away the hand, ”Oy, watch it. You guys can read minds and shit. Who knows what else you can do. Besides, I'm not a kid anymore. ”

”Well, you certainly still look like one.” Bastian laughed.

”We both know who is to blame for that.” Will sighed in resignation.

Will had not aged a bit in five years. Will hoped that completing the Silverton quest would help but he wasn't quite sure what to do. He virtually controlled that school but wasn't sure if he forcefully making him graduate could count as a pass. All he could do for now was allow someone else to fill in for him while he focused on what he could.

”You seem like you have something on your mind, let me help you out.”

Will pouted, ”I doubt you can but sure.”

Will shared the contents of his quest and his current issue with Bastian.

Bastian laughed for a while causing Will to roll his eyes. ”What's so funny Uncle Bas?

”So now you recognize me eh? You just want my help.” said a smug Bastian. Will despised that smug smile but he had no choice.

”Uncle Bas, it was you who told me that you could come and advise me anytime I summoned the gates. I did, so if you really are Uncle Bas then help a brother out. Well, you're not really a brother on the outside anymore.” Will looked, Bastian. Right now Bastian was in a simple linen gown instead of that incredible armor he once wore.

”Aye I did, but you don't trust me. Why would you ask me for advice,” asked Bastian with a cheeky grin. Will sorely wished he had the ability to punch his teeth out. But he breathed in and calmed himself. He stood up and put his hands into his pockets.

”I'm asking because the real Uncle Bas once told me something a few days before he died.”

Bastian smiled, ” A person who only expects the worst out of people will only bring out the worst in themselves.”
