When it's time to leave work, Bai Jing Ting went to the parking lot where Yi Fei parked her car because he wanted to make sure that Yi Fei was alright before she went back to her place. Even though Yi Fei had already told him about the nature of her relations.h.i.+p with Wu Chen, Bai Jing Ting still harbours some intention to s.h.i.+ft her attention back to him.

When he reached the parking lot, he was stupefied. There were actually two red cars in the parking lot and they were parked side by side. Even the registration numbers were the same; the only difference would be the area letter code of the car.

Bai Jing Ting could recognize Yi Fei's car even when there were two or more cars lined up with the same colour and registration number. He didn't know how; he just did.

He went standing near Yi Fei's car to wait for Yi Fei to come. Bai Jing Ting had a bad feeling about the other red car because it looked too similar with Yi Fei's car and it was too much of a coincidence that even the registration plate number was same – as if it was made specifically to match Yi Fei's car.

After a few minutes, Yi Fei was seen walking towards her car. Bai Jing Ting smiled upon seeing her. She did not look sad so Bai Jing Ting felt relieved.

”Brother Ting, why are you here?” From afar, Yi Fei could see Bai Jing Ting who was standing near her car but her attention was towards the red car that parked beside her G.o.ddess. She continued walking towards the parking lot.

”I just want to make sure that you are alright” Bai Jing Ting was quite busy the whole day so he couldn't really check on Yi Fei. He looked at the approaching figure who was smiling as she was approaching him.

”Oh, I'm okay. I don't feel disturbed at all” Yi Fei reached where Bai Jing Ting was. ”Thank you for asking tho. You should head back, Brother Ting. If you keep on delaying, the traffic will be more congested”

Bai Jing Ting liked this side of Yi Fei; she cared about other people. But the impression didn't last long because Yi Fei walked towards the other red car and what happened next shocked him.

Yi Fei walked to the car next to her G.o.ddess and knocked on the window of the driver's seat. The window didn't roll down. Instead, a man came out of the car.

It was Wu Chen. Bai Jing Ting was flabbergasted upon seeing him.

Without acknowledging Bai Jing Ting who was standing on the other side of the car, Wu Chen came out of the car and began inspecting Yi Fei. He touched her face and her shoulder as if to check if there's any wound or injury on Yi Fei's. His face was full of concerned.

”I came because I was worried. It breaks my heart because you have to go through such things” Wu Chen's hands were holding her cheek.

At first, Yi Fei was shy because Wu Chen started to be touchy in public. She was not used to a public display of affection but when she saw the concern look on Wu Chen's face, her shyness disappeared.

”What things ar? This sister here is tough so that kind of thing won't bring me down” Yi Fei tried to get rid of Wu Chen's hands on both her cheek because he was squis.h.i.+ng her.

The forgotten side character who was still standing at the other side coughed to get the attention of the couple. Yi Fei and Wu Chen turned their heads to look at Bai Jing Ting.

”Wu Chen” Bai Jing Ting could only utter the name of the man in front of him. It's no wonder that he had a bad feeling when he saw the red car that could pa.s.s as the clone for Yi Fei's car. The feeling he had when he saw him touching Yi Fei casually was like all the b.u.t.terflies just died.

He knew that Yi Fei and Wu Chen were together now but it still breaks his heart when Wu Chen was flaunting how good their relations.h.i.+p was; it was as if he had done it to show off to him.

Wu Chen didn't say anything; he just nodded his head once to acknowledge Bai Jing Ting when the other person called his name. Then, he turned her attention to the short lady in front of him.
