”Let's go eat first” Wu Chen removed his hands from Yi Fei's cheek and held her hands.

”Okay, I lead the way and you follow right behind me” Yi Fei wanted to walk to the driver seat of her car but Wu Chen pulled her back.

”Liu s.h.i.+ will drive your car” Right after the name had been mentioned, a guy emerged from the pa.s.senger seat of Wu Chen's car and bowed to Yi Fei. ”Let's go. We need to talk about a few things. Say goodbye to your brother first” Wu Chen purposely stressed the 'brother'.

”Okay then” Yi Fei turned to Bai Jing Ting and spoke happily. ”Brother Ting, I'm going now. You should head back too before the traffic got worse” Yi Fei waved her hand and then, she handed over the keys of her car to Liu s.h.i.+.

Bai Jing Ting was sure that Wu Chen purposely stressed the word 'brother'; as if Wu Chen was reminding him that he was just a brother to Yi Fei.

He really disliked this side of Wu Chen. During their university days, Wu Chen always flaunts his happiness towards him. It made him furious sometimes. After all this time, he still couldn't do anything about it. He just looked at the red car until it disappears from his sight.

Inside the car, Yi Fei looked at Wu Chen suspiciously.

”What's your motive of coming to my school? The kids will gossip about it when they see you. You know that you are famous right?” Yi Fei wanted to know the real reason why Wu Chen came to her school.

”Bai Jing Ting is such a caring brother. He even came to check on you before you head back home” There was a trace of jealousy in his voice.

”Are you jealous? Don't be. I just think of him as my brother. So, why did you come to my school?” How could she not detect the bitterness in Wu Chen's voice? Yi Fei knew when someone was jealous. She always writes about it in her online novels. Also, she knew better not to feed off jealousy – that it would be best if it was resolved earlier.

A proud smile could be seen on Wu Chen's face. ”I'm worried about you. This is for real. That culprit might have done something bad to you. I don't want to take any risk”

Yi Fei tried to process the information and tried to relate it to her current self. Wu Chen knew the look on her face. When she had a blank look on her face, it means that Yi Fei was about to come up with a wild imagination. For some reasons, he couldn't wait to hear what it was this time.

”Ahhhh” Yi Fei screamed dramatically. She looked as if she had a sudden epiphany about it. ”Chen Chen, you might be right. That culprit might scratch my G.o.ddess or splatter paint all over it as a warning… Or worse, the culprit might do something to my car – like she or he messed up the brake or something so that I will get into an accident…” Yi Fei tried to come up with a lot of scenarios. She even used her body while talking to describe each scenario.

Most of the things imagined by Yi Fei were the worst case scenarios. That gave Wu Chen an idea too. He smirked cunningly.

”My Fei Fei is very smart” Wu Chen patted Yi Fei's head like he was praising a little kid who did well in the examination. ”That's why, starting from today, I will send you and pick you up from work every day until the culprit is captured. This way, you will be safe” Wu Chen said it with a face full of righteousness.

When Wu Chen put it that way, it seemed as if doing that was a good thing so Yi Fei agreed readily. She was so proud because she could come up with something incredible like that and she got praised by Wu Chen. What she didn't know was that she actually fell into Wu Chen's trap.

Wu Chen was only saying that so that he could spend more time with Yi Fei. Also, he could get rid of Bai Jing Ting or other flies who kept of hanging out near his girl.

It was like killing two birds with one stone.
