Part 30 (2/2)
KoKo watched as she dialed. He picked up and the woman told him they needed him at the club right away. He agreed to come and the call was disconnected. KoKo waited and watched the room. The tension was high and the antic.i.p.ation was so thick it was suffocating.
Ledger and his nephew li'l Will emerged from a back room and walked right up on KoKo.
”Do I have business with you?”
”Not sure yet. But I'm sure we are all about to find out. KoKo turned to Ledger then pulled out and shot Will in the head.
Ledger's heart dropped at the same time li'l Will's body hit the ground.
”What the f.u.c.k is wrong with you,” he pulled out and put his gun right at KoKo's forehead.
Wynter pulled a small pump shotgun from behind the bar and put it to Ledger's head. ”You must be tired of living,” her voice echoed from behind him.
KoKo's men put chrome to the security and waited for the next man to make a move.
Adreena moved from one man to another, collecting guns and placing them in a black duffle bag; then she joined KoKo's side.
”b.i.t.c.h, I am not breakable,” She said holding her gun firm.
”Give me the one who calls the orders!”
”You must be out your mind,” he stood firm.
”This is your last chance. Give me the man who calls the orders.”
”f.u.c.k you,” Ledger said as he began to press his finger on the trigger.
Before he could move another inch, Wynter blew the side of his head off.
”What the f.u.c.k is wrong with you?” KoKo yelled in her direction. ”How you gonna shot this n.i.g.g.a when I got heat to my head?”
”My bad. The b.i.t.c.h was having a hard time making up his mind,” she tucked her gun. ”The floor will put it back together for him,” she looked at KoKo. ”But I can tell you one thing, these scared a.s.s n.i.g.g.as are about to tell you everything you want to know. I'ma pour some drinks while you handle your business,” she sat her gun down and proceeded to pour several shot gla.s.ses of Ciroc then pa.s.sed them out.
KoKo just shook her head. She had created a team full of monsters and they stayed on green light. All she could do was move to the next step. For the next two hours, her men laid a few dudes out and the rest gave up everything they knew in exchange for their freedom from the game. When she and the team walked out the door, they had all the information that they needed.
The team jumped into their trucks and KoKo, Adreena and Wynter hopped in KoKo's whip. KoKo adjusted her mirrors and waited for her men to take the lead. As soon as their cars turned out, two explosions rang out into the night. The car holding her men flipped falling only inches in front of her truck. KoKo jumped out of her vehicle and looked at the smoke and fire that pushed its way into the sky.
”What the f.u.c.k!” she yelled out as she pulled her gun and turned in all directions.”
Shots flew in their direction, causing them to hit the ground taking cover. KoKo looked at the fear on Adreena's face as bullets whizzed past her on all sides and a slight panic set in. She reached out for her hand, and just as Adreena moved to come where KoKo was taking cover, her head was blown off her shoulders. KoKo jumped back to her spot and waited for a pause, and then she jumped up and lit up the night in the direction of the gunfire.
”Punk m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kas!” she yelled out as she let off. When she ran out, she ducked back down and Wynter got her some in.
Wynter crawled low to the ground as she tried to get closer to KoKo, just as the gunfire began to slow down. Just as the ladies were reloading their guns, they heard car tires screeching. KoKo looked out and was. .h.i.t in the face with a b.u.t.t of a gun. The man put the barrel in Wynter's face and they were both grabbed from their position and hoods placed over their heads as they were tossed into the van.
Kayson stood over Magic in the open field with fury in his eyes. The dim light from the truck illuminated the area as crickets played in the distance as Magic lay b.l.o.o.d.y and unconscious only seconds away from coming face to face with evil.
”Wake his b.i.t.c.h a.s.s up,” Kayson ordered.
”No problem Boss,” Baseem replied with a wicked smirk as he opened the bottle of alcohol and began to pour it over Magic's face.
”Ahhh...” Magic was jolted from his sleep screaming as the liquid seeped into the gashes on his face. He breathing heavy he struggled to look around in the darkness and slight panic creped in his chest when his eyes met with lava that was pouring from Kayson's.
”Thanks for agreeing to meet with me,” Kayson said coldly as he pulled the hood back slightly from his face.
Magic's eyes moved back and forth from Baseem and Kayson then down at his battered body he wanted to move but couldn't, both of his arms and legs were broken and twisted in different directions. He began to shake as the realty of his condition played loudly in his mind.
”Usually I would just blow your head off and get on with my day. But you one of them n.i.g.g.as that need special attention. So, here we are,” Kayson stood with his gun rested easy at his side.
”This s.h.i.+t ain't gotta be like this,” Magic mumbled as his body throbbed in pain.
”That's what the f.u.c.k we tried to tell yo a.s.s months ago. Dumb m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka,” Baseem growled then spat in Magic's face.
Magic turned his head cringing it slide down the side of his face.
”So how you want this?” Kayson asked as he pulled one in the chamber.
”I'll pay you man,” Magic stuttered as tears ran from the corner of Magic's eyes.
”Baseem which hand you think he tried to stick in my pocket?”
”Left,” Baseem said smoothly.
Kayson shot him in the left elbow almost severing it from the bone.
”Ahhhh...Please...” He pleaded staring into Kayson's unforgiving glare, but knowing his plea would be denied.
”I offered you money. Denied. I offered you territory. Denied. You told me to kiss your a.s.s and suck your d.i.c.k,” Kayson's voice echoed into the darkness. ”n.i.g.g.a you tried to f.u.c.k me.” Kayson let off a shot hitting Magic in his d.i.c.k.
”Ahhhhh...!” he yelled out in agonizing pain which caused him to blink in and out of consciousness.
”Now you got a p.u.s.s.y m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka,” Kayson said then positioned himself right over Magic peering into his blood shot eyes, he needed to steel his heart and his soul. He stood and watched the agony and terror on his face and as his body shook; Kayson formed a smirk on his face.
Magic choked up blood onto his face and gasped for breath as his lungs struggled for air. His glossy gaze became empty of life as the chilly whispers of the grave called his name.
”Never send for death unless you really want to see its face,” Kayson said then emptied his gun.
Chapter 35.
The Shadow KoKo was kneeled in a puddle of water and her own p.i.s.s and blood. Her hands were tightly tied behind her back and her head was pounding like she had been hit with a hammer. KoKo forced her vision to look down at the bottom of the hood, trying to see if she could make out any images or her location.
