Anya saw Aiden's forehead sweating. His handsome face looked tense with restraint. Her heart immediately melted at the sight of her husband trying so hard to hold back for her sake.
”Is it that hard to hold back?” Anya asked with a chuckle.
”Laugh again and you'll see,” Aiden snorted. The sentence was like a threat. If Anya laughed again, he really wouldn't hold back.
Anya immediately stopped laughing and ran to the bathroom, avoiding her husband who was ready to pounce on her.

It was already nine when they finished their dinner. Anya wanted to go to the hospital because she didn't have time to visit her mother earlier.

Anya sat on the edge of Diana's bed, holding her mother's hand and telling many things. But her mother didn't react at all.
Diana's cellphone in the closet suddenly vibrated, indicating that the battery was running low and needed to be recharged.
Anya opened the cupboard and opened the screen of the cell phone after plugging in the charger. Her hand accidentally touched the screen and showed the previous call note.
”Aiden, come here...” Anya called.
Aiden approached Anya and saw that his wife was holding Diana's cellphone in her hand. ”What's wrong?”
”Look at the call record on my mom's cell phone. My mom called someone. If you look at the time, it wasn't long after Auntie Indah and Keara's visit,” Anya said.
Aiden pulled out his cell phone, called the number on Diana's recent call log and found that the call was connected to the Love Mother and Child Hospital.
”Were you born in the Love Mother and Child Hospital?” Aiden suddenly asked.
”Yes. Was it from the Loving Mother and Child Hospital?” Anya stared at her mother's cell phone in confusion. ”Why did my mother call the Love Mother and Child Hospital? What did Aunt Indah and Keara actually say to her?”
Aiden didn't answer, but he did show Anya something. It was a DNA test result. ”Look at this.”
”This... Whose DNA test result is this?” Anya asked.
”You are not Deny's daughter. This morning, the person who took your blood sample matched it with Deny for a kidney transplant, but the result says it's not compatible. That's why I ordered the hospital to do a DNA test. This afternoon you were still sleeping, so I didn't have time to tell you,” Aiden said.
Anya's head was buzzing. Her body swayed slightly so she held the table beside her. With alacrity, Aiden immediately supported Anya's body.
She was not her father's daughter. She was not related by blood to the Tedjasukmana family. How could it be?
”Maybe the result is wrong...” Anya said in a trembling voice.
”The result cannot be wrong, Anya. I suggest you and your mom do the DNA test too,” Aiden said.
Anya immediately shook her head. ”No! I am my mother's daughter. I was born with a sense of smell like my mother because she is a famous parfumeur. It couldn't be wrong. I'm sure my mother will not betray my father. There must be something wrong,”
”If you want to know if something's wrong, do that DNA test. If you really believe you are your mother's daughter, why should you be afraid?” Aiden said.
Anya lifted her face and looked at Aiden with wet eyes. ”What if I'm not my mother's daughter?”
”Why do you think like that?” Aiden asked softly.
