”Why do you think that?” Aiden asked softly.
”My mother never betrayed my father. If I'm not my father's daughter, then I'm not my mother's daughter either. Then who exactly am I?” Tears streamed down Anya's face.
Aiden didn't know how to cheer up Anya. Diana insisted that Anya was Deny's daughter. But if what he guessed was true, it meant that Anya might not be blood-related to Deny or Diana.
He hugged Anya's body gently and said patiently. ”We can find out everything after confirming it. After the result comes out, you will know why your mother fell into a coma again,”
”I don't have anyone. If my mother isn't my real mother, I will…”
”You still have me,” Aiden bowed his head to kiss the top of Anya's head, then her eyelids and tears. ”Don't cry. I will always be by your side,”
Anya looked at her mother who was still lying on the bed. Her tears were still dripping as she asked, ”When will the result come out if I take the test now?”
”Maybe tomorrow morning...” Aiden replied.
Anya was silent for a moment, wondering if she should do it. For her, this was a big decision.
She finally said, ”Alright. I agree to undergo the test,”
Aiden thought this problem was serious, so after telling a nurse to take Anya and Diana's blood sample, he drove her to Dartha Hospital herself.
Around eleven in the evening, Anya and Aiden arrived at the underground parking lot of the hospital. Before leaving for Dartha Hospital, they changed their clothes to simpler clothes, so that no one else or the media would find out about this matter.
Because after all, this matter involved influential families in this city…
They also used cars with fake number plates to avoid others' suspicion.
This month, September, the weather was still a little hot, and yet to enter the rainy season. But somehow, Anya felt cold.
Tirta said that their blood samples had been sent to the laboratory and it took eight hours to get the result. So he told Anya and Aiden to go home to rest.
Aiden felt Anya's whole body tensing at the thought of the test results. He held Anya's hand gently and said, ”Let's go home first. We can come back here again tomorrow morning.”
”I want to wait here. I don't want to go home,” Anya shook her head and refused to go home.
Seeing this, Tirta said, ”There is a VIP room reserved for family members on the top floor. You can stay in that room overnight. As soon as the result comes out, I will immediately inform you,”
Aiden obeyed Anya who insisted on waiting for the results and decided to stay overnight at the hospital.
Aiden and Anya rested in the top floor of the hospital's room, but Anya couldn't even close her eyes. Aiden could only hug her as he leaned his head on the head of the bed, waiting for the test result.
”What will you do if the result isn't as you expected?” Aiden asked.
”I really hope the result says what I want. I wish I'm really my mother's daughter. And even though the result doesn't match, I'd still be my mother's daughter,” Anya said in a low voice.

Anya bit her lip and thought for a long time. She finally replied, ”My mother doesn't have anyone in this world besides me and she can't lose me anymore. Even though I am not my mother's daughter, I will not leave my mother just to find my biological parents. I don't want to betray my mother,”
”You don't want to know your real parents?”
Anya's expression was blank. ”I don't want to find them,”
Aiden didn't say much anymore, because he was afraid that Anya would be confused.
Anya really hoped that she was her mother's daughter.
