Chapter 47：Nightmare (2/2)

Now, Ivan Atmajaya was going home to visit his father. It seemed like a big storm would hit the Atmajaya Family.

Even though Aiden had started walking again after the accident that happened to him, his eyes were still blind. Maybe this was the perfect time for Imel and Ivan to kick him out of the company.

”Just let him come back. It's easier to handle this mother and child head on.” Aiden replied coldly with a snort.

”But sir, your eyes...” As someone who was always beside Aiden, Harris could certainly see his master's attitude. Often he felt that his Master was acting like a normal person, as if he could see. It made him guess that Aiden could see again. However, he didn't know how far Aiden's eyes had recovered. He was worried about Aiden. The master had not fully recovered. He didn't want to let Aiden lose his sight again.

”I will slowly recover. We will observe the situation for a few days before going abroad to look for other alternative treatments.” Aiden said calmly.

”Yes sir. Forgive me for being too reckless.” After presenting all the reports to Aiden, Harris felt calmer than ever. At the time of the investigation, it was as if he was overcome by adrenaline and he acted very recklessly.

”Hmm…be patient. I won't just forgive Imel, I won't just let that woman go. We'll wait until she shows her true self.” Aiden's face might've looked very calm when he said that, but his brain was spinning hard, thinking of plans to take down his opponent. He would not remain silent if someone tried to harm him.

After hanging up the phone, Aiden immediately returned to his room. He closed the balcony door and walked to his bed.

He saw Anya's tiny body on the bed moving restlessly. Her forehead was slightly sweating from a nightmare that had disturbed her sleep.

”Aiden ... I'm afraid…” She said softly.

”Aiden ... Are we going to die?” She asked in a low voice.

Aiden stroked Anya's hair, trying to calm her down to return to her deep sleep. He kissed her forehead gently, ”Do not be afraid. I'm here…”

But it was useless, Anya was moving restlessly and her sweat was pouring out even more.

”Aiden, you can't die. I won't let you die. Come out…”

Tears started rolling down Anya's face. She cried so hard as she kept calling Aiden's name.

”Anya, wake up! Wake up…” Aiden shook Anya's body to wake her up from her nightmare.

From deep in her sleep, Anya could feel the shock on her body so that her eyes opened immediately. She saw Aiden sitting beside her with a face drenched in tears. When she saw Aiden, she immediately got up and hugged him tightly.

”Aiden, you are okay. Nothing happened to you!” Anya buried her face in Aiden's neck. Tears still streamed down her face, soaking the pajamas Aiden was wearing. However, Anya didn't care, she was too upset because of the nightmare she was having. The dream felt so real.

Aiden gently patted Anya's back as if calming a child who was having a nightmare, ”It's just a nightmare. Don't think about it. I am fine!”

Aiden knew the nightmares that haunted Anya. He knew the incident very clearly, but he couldn't tell Anya the truth. He did not have the heart to tell all that to Anya...
