Chapter 21：Victim of an Affair (1/2)
”Natali set me up! She spiked my drink and sent me to Aiden's room. Why should I be blamed for all the things I didn't do?” Shouted Anya, trying to defend herself from her father's accusation.
The voices of Deny and Anya grew louder and louder and attracted the attention of all visitors at the cafe, including Natali, who had indeed followed her father on purpose.
From her seat, Natali could hear Anya chanting her name. She knew Anya was not an idiot and that her half-sister must have known that she planned all this. Anya must have known that Natali was the one who trapped her.
But she didn't care. After all, Anya couldn't do anything. What could that woman do? Just this moment, everyone around looked at Anya in disgust. They all thought of Anya as a cheap woman who flirted with someone else's fiancé.
People's stares on Anya made Natali feel happy. She could hear those people whispering and insulting Anya secretly.
”Looks like I know the woman sitting there.” Said one of the diners beside Natali's table.
”Which one?” Her friend asked, making the first woman to discuss this topic and point at Anya secretly.
”Eh! That's the woman in the newspaper because of the affair. The one who had an affair with Aiden Atmajaya!” Said one of the diners at the table beside Natali.
At the table, five girls with fashionable styles were chatting. Of course, these young women really liked to gossip, especially if it was related to a rich, handsome man. Seeing Anya's presence seemed to give them a hot issue for their topic and made them excited to discuss it.
”Ah! No wonder I've seen her face. Who was the man who fought with her?”
”Isn't that Deny Tedjasukmana? Natali's father? Surely that man is scolding a cheap woman who seduced his daughter's fiancé!”
”How can a father be willing to see his daughter sad? If I were her father, I would beat up that woman too. But, by the way, that woman is pretty too, huh?”
”Indeed, her face is beautiful. But what's the use of being pretty if she's so cheap.”
The five of them continued to talk about the latest news, giggling and not realizing that Natali who sat beside them was also listening.
Hearing the insults directed at Anya, Natali felt a little satisfied. But there was one thing that kept hatred in her heart. The clothes and bags that Anya wore made her feel jealous. It seemed this was the right time to act!
When she rose from her chair, the group of women beside her turned their heads, as if they recognized her.
”Eh, isn't she...” Said one woman while nudging the friend beside her.
”Yes yes! She is Natali Tedjasukmana, the victim of this affair.”
”It turns out that she is very beautiful. How can Aiden have an affair with someone else, even though he has a fiancee as beautiful as this.”
”Eh, look! Looks like she will confront the woman in her fiancé's affair...”
”Looks like there will be a big fight.”
