70 Arrogant Trash (1/2)
The adoption center that hired them was one of the least influential stores for pets that existed within the market. However, they were honest people and had good products. The only reason they called any private Investigators was because the amount of compensation that the breeder asked for was rather high.
The breeder liked to remain lowkey, although he was still known for his money grubbing ways. In fact, it could be said that he was famous for his not-so-great personality, rather than his business.

”Let me get this straight... he said he didn't want to get the police involved, because he didn't want to blow it out of proportion? And yet he still asked for such an amount of compensation?” Asrael was in shock.
”Yes, that's about it.” The manager confirmed.
”He's being too cocky!”
”Well, he can be cocky all he wants when there is no evidence against him.” Arius smirked. ”He understands the system, because he's done this before.”
”He's been robbed before?” The manager was completely in the dark about the situation, and Arius didn't bother explaining.
”Sort of.” Arius responded.
”Ha! He may understand the system, but does he know that we don't stick to the system?” Asrael gave a knowing glance at Arius, who in return smiled.
”What are you all getting at?” There was still one person with absolutely no clue as to what was going on.
”I'll explain when we get back.” Arius stood up, and as he did, signaled Asrael to follow.
Arius already had the man's address, and he drove straight there. Anyway, there was still something off about the man. To be able to dupe so many people, he was already scum of the earth. Yet there would be much more to look at when they finally bust his ass.
The way there seemed like a usual neighborhood, without any abnormalities in sight, unless you count the crazy amount of cats that roamed about.
