”So what do you think we should do next?” asked Aliya
”Don't you worry. I have no interests in coming between two love birds. I will handle my parents. I know how to do it. So it is safe from my side. But I will feel it will be difficult for Rishi.”
”You are right. It will be difficult for me. But if you don't mind can I ask you something Deepika?”
”Yes.”
”Who is that person whom you love?” Rishi asked with a slight fear that he may have offended her. This question was something that was lingering in Aliya's mind for a few seconds. Finally Rishi asked it.
”I won't say his name. But he is an American..... I feel I should leave. There are many media reporters waiting outside. But I am not giving any interviews. And I advise Rishi the same. Bye!” Deepika waved and left the two alone in the room.
Aliya and Rishi looked at each other. The silence continued until Aliya spoke
”So I will leave now. You have your dinner. And yes if....
”Stop behaving in a formal manner. We are in a relationship now. Boyfriend-girlfriend, right?”
Aliya laughed at his statement
”Boyfriend-girlfriend? We are in our 30s Rishi. And see, I got my second boyfriend now. And what's amazing is that that the second one is the same boy, now man, who was my first one. By the way what's my rank in your gf list?” Aliya teased Rishi
”I lost count long ago.” Rishi said while rolling his eyes
”Oh! Bye then. I will leave.” Aliya was just to take a step ahead whenRishi grabbed her hand
”What bye? You too are hungry. I know you haven't eaten anything for long. Come. We will have dinner together.” Rishi pulled her towards the door.
”Wait! I will have dinner. But not here. At my home. Rishi I am tired of being in this party. I seriously want abreak. Moreover you have to wrap up this party. You too have work. Don't waste time with me. This marriage announcement and all....there is a lot of chaos outside. You go and handle it. I will meet you tomorrow. Till then, good night!” Aliya said while having a charming smile
”Fine. But you will have to make it as a habit to bear these boring parties, as you will be my wife soon. Go safe and eat fast. Give a missed call after you reach. Okay?And where is the good night kiss?”Rishi asked while leaning forward to grab one from her.
But he was late. Aliya pushed him back gently and said
”Don't be so desperate. And the kiss? You will get it afterwards when I feel you deserve it. I will give a missed call. See you soon! Bubye!” Aliya waved her hand and left the poor guy alone. But Rishi screamed
”BYE!! I WILL BE WAITING!!”
He was now the happiest person on earth. He yelled a huge 'Yes' and jumped in the air.
