105 Coincidence or Fate? (1/2)
At the front of the resort lobby, Angelique was standing by while waiting for Jordon and Annie to settle the bills and arrangement. She took a last walk around the resort as memories flashed back all the events that happened during her stay. Eventually, she ended at the back of the resort almost to the shore; she paused when she pictures out the moment she had with Scott during the sunset. A tear fell again as she wipes it off after hearing someone called for her name.
”Ange?”
She turned around and smiled her pain away, ”Annie, is something wrong?”
”You disappeared all of the sudden, anyway, the car is here,” she replied as she notices her eyes were slightly red.
Angelique walked beside Annie as the two of them headed back together, she turned around for the last time to take a last glimpse at the place.
Annie notice Angelique hesitated for a moment, ”Is something wrong?”
Angelique shook her head, ”No, let's go.”
Inside the car, Angelique was all silent throughout the journey as she blankly stares outside the window. Jordon and Annie could not help it but be concerned for her, but they did not bother her and let her be.
Angelique continued to gaze outside as some memories she has with the place soon pop up in her mind again and again. She clenches her fist as she felt a sudden pain in her chest. She wished to cry but tried to control it to avoid worrying Jordon and Annie.
”Ange, are you alright?” Annie asked after seeing her clench her fist.
”I'm fine, my chest just felt a little sore,” she said
”Come lay down for a moment, we still an hour away from the airport anyway,” Annie said
Angelique did not complain and did what Annie said, she shut her eyes as her mind went blank for a moment.
When they arrived at the airport, Angelique was greeted by a few of her fans. Since no one knew she was heading home, not a lot of her fans bid her farewell. Only those who could find out after the resort staff leaked the news were able to come.
”Angelique, have a safe trip.”
”Angelique, visit us again.”
”We hope to see you in your concert.”
Angelique smiled after hearing such sweet comments from her fans, ”Thank you, everyone see you soon.”
While Jordon and Annie went to get their ticket, they left Angelique to wander around the airport. She went around as she checks the different store around. While she enters a couple of the shop, she was a bracelet she thought would look good on someone.
”Miss, you sure have a good eye, that bracelet is a couple's bracelet.” a sale lady said
It surprises Angelique to find out about the bracelet. ”Oh-”
”This bracelet is one of its kind, there is another bracelet like this but they all have unique design and meaning. Our finest craftsman crafted it with delicate details.”
”I see, so what does this one mean?” Angelique asked
”Fate” she answered
”Fate?” she wondered
”Yes, Fate that no matter what the future holds for you, fate will always find its way for the two of you.”
”I see, then I'll take this one,” she pointed out
