63 Where Is He... (2/2)

”Ma, Where is he...?”

The woman was puzzled at her daughter question, she does not know who she was referring to. She looked at the people in the room and it seems like all her close friends are here. ”You mean my husband?”

The girl shakes her head to respond to her mother's question. She then looked at her mother and gave her a reassuring smile and said; ”No worries Ma, it's not a big deal...”

”Hey, Angelique I know you just have woken up but what about the fashion show?”

Angelique then recalled how she ended up in the hospital, she has almost totally forgotten about the fashion show.

She tried to stretch her arms and leg and felt like nothing is broken.

She slowly dragged herself off the bed and see if she could stand up.

As the girl in bed tried to stand up, everyone in the room panic as they worried for her.

”Hey, Ange what are you doing?”

”Hey, you should stay in bed...”

Angelique ignored all of them and grab hold of the table beside her bed and stood up, as her feet touched the ground and were able to hold her weight up. She looked at Annie and said; ”Seems like my body is fine, I can continue with the fashion show I guess...”

No one in the room said a word and only stared at the girl standing by her bedside as she smiled at them. They were all speechless at the girl confident words to continue something that almost killed her.
