15 The Sitting Silhouette (1/2)

”Could you please be my friend?!”, Rin bowed.

”Ah!-”, Dana was stunned and what followed was embarrassment.

Rin didn't cease his bow and waited for the answer. Every second that pass breaks his courage. He stayed still but his heart was wreaking havoc inside his chest that he found difficulty in breathing

”I thought we are already friends…”, Dana emotionlessly said and turned her head away when Rin happily looked at her.

Dana brought out her smartphone and called 911, ignoring Rin.

Rin got confused, 'Isn't she acting cold? Is she forcing herself to say that she's now my friend? Is she mad? What??? I only now understand when they say women are a very complicated creature.', the number one man's excuse when they couldn't understand a girl.

”Let's go. The police is on their way here. It would be a bother if we were to get interrogated.”, Dana walked away as if she had no company.

”Are you mad?”, Rin followed from behind.

With a sudden straight forward question from Rin, Dana got flustered but weakly replied, ”... I just expected more…”

'More?', Rin pondered, ”We only talked for a short time so I feel like I couldn't call you a bestfriend yet.”

”What?!”, Dana couldn't believe how dense Rin was. It was insane how high Rin's virginity level was, he's so dense that he couldn't even be called innocent anymore.

”Just enough! Let's go!”, Dana puffed her cheek and became cutely angry. She didn't retort or she'll just embarrass herself more.

Rin stared and said, ”Dana, you'll always be at disadvantage in an argument.”

”Hm? Why would you say that?”, Dana was a bit confused as to why Rin would say that out of place.

”Because in a heated argument where your mind is no longer rationale but desperate to prove your point, your enemy will actually be pretty calm.”, Rin explained but Dana still couldn't follow so Rin got to the point, ”Everybody will stay calm when they saw how cute you are.”

”You….. That shouldn't work…”, Dana's face turned redder and walked with larger strides. She stayed silent.

Rin felt really happy that he got a time like this. When he was about to follow Dana again, he heard a groan. He looked at the source of it and saw that bald man who's holding his neck in pain. The bald man had a fierce glaring eyes but Rin was not intimated as this bald man was actually crying from pain until his consciousness gave up.

Rin squinted his eyes and thought, 'That was what I felt for almost three weeks.' Before following the flustered Dana.

After walking through a few streets, they've reached Dana's house which was pretty ordinary.

”We are already at our house.”, Dana stared at Rin.
