As Sofia walk to the toilet, she bumped into a tall man's leg. ”Oh! I'm so sorry. I didn't see you Mr.”

The man knelt down so they can be on the same level. ”Why are you alone?”

”Oh you speak English!!!” she said excitedly. ”My mummy is there and I don't want her to help me. I'm a big girl now you see.” she smiled sweetly.

”Didn't your mummy warned you not to talk to strangers?”

”Well, I bumped into you, so I must apologise! Besides, you are so handsome and you seemed nice.” she blushed a little and act shyly.

”Okay, then I'll take you to your mummy when you're done! I'll wait here for you.”

Sofia came out ”Mr I'm done. Please kindly walk with me to see my mummy!” she cheekily said.

He couldn't help it he laugh. ”You are so cute. What is your name?” they started to walk slowly.

”Sofia and I'm 5! I'm a big girl. How about you Mr?”

”I'm Cheng Ze. So which table are you in?”

”Over there! My mummy's there. That pretty lady.” she excitedly pointed out Ji An who is looking out the window.

Cheng Ze looks where she's pointing and to his surprise, it's Ji An. ”Is she your mummy?” he asks seriously.

”Isn't she pretty, handsome Mr If I don't have a daddy, I will tell my mummy that you can be my daddy.” she smiled sweetly.

It made Cheng Ze blush.

As they arrived on the table Ji An look at them. Looked at their hands. For a moment it felt like the time stopped.

”Mummy! I met someone near the toilet. I bumped into him and I already apologised. Isn't he handsome? He is so kind, he took me back because I was alone. But I already told him I'm a big girl and I don't need help...”

”Sofia... When have you become so talkative? I cannot say a single word.” Ji An butt in with a smile on her face.

”I'm sorry mummy. His name is Cheng Ze. Should I call him Uncle?”

”Sofia...” and she gave her daughter that look.

Sofia shut up and lowered her head.

”Ehem” Cheng Ze pretend to let out a cough.

”Thank you for bringing my daughter back. Do you want to sit with u...”

He didn't let her finish and he replied quickly ”Sure. It's my pleasure.” he smiled.

Sofia smiled brightly. ”Can you sit next to me Mr?”

”Okay. How about you call me daddy for now.” he looked at Ji An waiting for her reaction.

'What is he doing?' in Ji Ans' mind.

Sofia smile more brightly. ”Is it okay?”

”If your mummy is okay with it I'm okay too.” He looked at their reflection in the window ”Look at our reflection” Sofia looked as well. ”We almost look like a father and daughter.” 'So this is what Li Wei want me to see? Is she my daugh....'

”Enough Cheng Ze!!! What are you doing? Are you messing up with my daughter!” she spoke in Chinese so Sofia won't understand.

Cheng Ze smirked and replied in Chinese ”Why are you here? Did your husband found out you slept with me on your wedding night? Is he here for revenge? Are you help...”

”What nonsense are you talking about?! What revenge? Leave my daughter alone!” she didn't show how incredibly mad she is at him. She's trying to talk calmly.

Why do they always end up fighting when they're together? But she longs for him when she can't see him.

”Isn't Eric your husband? My business partner?”

”What??? My... hus...band?? Your business... Partner? You mean you invited us here?”

”Your husband is not coming! I think he is waiting for you. But it seems like you are staying with someone else. You probably like sleeping with other me...”

Ji An slaps his face. ”Sofia let's go. We're going!” she faces Cheng Ze ”Don't you dare bad mouth me. You don't know anything!” she drags Sofia and walks fast.

He heard Sofia's little complains.

”Mummy it hurts. Don't pull my arm.”

He couldn't help it, he runs after them. ”Ji An you're hurting your daughter, slow down, you don't have to drag her. Come on!

”What I do with my daughter is none of your business! Get lost Cheng Ze!”

”I'm sorry. Let's talk. I didn't mean to say those words. Please, let's talk.” he held her wrist trying to stop her.

They arrived at their car. The driver opened the door. ”Sofia get in.” after her daughter got in she shut the door and spoke to their driver ”Take her home. Tell my mother she didn't have dinner yet. Drive safely.” the car drove off.

She faced Cheng Ze ”Now we talk!”
