4 Years on, Lori and Cheng Ze are still engaged. Lori wants to get married soon, as she has been waiting for years. Cheng Ze still doesn't want to get married just yet. He is giving her all the excuses he can think of. Lori is patient with him because she really doesn't want to lose him.

Gu Feng is not rushing him to get married but he really wants a grandchild. The house is quiet for a long time now and he is getting old.

Cheng Ze took over the company and it has increased its value. They had expanded their business all over Asia.

Someone from Europe has recently bought some of the shares from his company, and he is thinking of expanding across Europe with the help of that person. It seems like he is really interested in their business.

Li Wei is still by his side. He now has a girlfriend, so he came to understood Cheng Zes' behaviour before when he was trying to win Ji An. At least his girlfriend is not complicated and easy to please.

Cheng Ze is now living on his own in his Villa where he once stayed with Ji An. That is the only place he feels closer to her, besides, he's now 26 years old. He started living there 2 years ago.

He really had matured. He doesn't despise his father anymore and he accepted Mei Li as his stepmother. He now knows that she has good intention. He doesn't let the past affect him anymore.

After his father passes Tangxin to him, he is now richer than Eric. He doesn't show off his richness but he will give anything Lori wants. He knows she can afford them but that is the only way he can think of to somehow comfort her.

Even after 4 years, his heart still belongs to Ji An. He knows he should stop his craziness, but his heart won't give up.

If he marries Lori, it will be a very sad marriage for him. How can he touch Lori? He is no longer that kind of man. He only wants to touch Ji An. He is only longing for Ji An, no one else.

In the 4 years they are engaged, he never once slept with Lori. He had kissed her, but never a passionate kiss. It will be a kiss on her forehead or her cheeks. Few occasions, a little kiss on her lips when he's trying to pacify her. She always tries to seduce him, but she always failed, Cheng Ze is just not into it. He will tell her that he will wait until their wedding night.

To Lori, it seems like he is respecting her and maybe that is his way of showing how much he loves her. So she accepts his excuse.

Everything is good in those 4 years. Cheng Ze never heard any news about Ji An. Though he misses her and he is dying to know how she is, he will not look for any news about her. He thinks it's better that way.

In a months time, the new business partner from Europe is coming to meet Cheng Ze. They are busy preparing for their meeting. After all, he is the who can help him open doors to European Business World. It will make things easier and faster with him on board.

”Li Wei, have you prepared Mr Watts accommodation? I believe he will be here for a week. Give him the best accommodation you can find. Prepare all the documents that we have to show him about expansion to Europe. I want everything to go smoothly.” Cheng Ze asked Li Wei.

”Boss everything is ready. It has been prepared from the day he became a shareholder.” Li Wei replied. But he remembered something so he asks Cheng Ze. ”Boss, his name is familiar. I think I have heard of his name before. I just can't remember where and when.”

”Hmm... What is the whole point of telling me this if you can't remember? You probably heard his name on the news. He is a good businessman, maybe that's how his name is familiar.” he replied while looking at the documents in his desk.

Li Wei got closer to him ”Eric Watts... Watts... Eric... His name is really familiar. Don't you think so?”

”No. Not really. Anyway, you should go and do your work. Men shouldn'tgossip tsk” he replied like he doesn't care and he doesn't know.

Li Wei is still mumbling, he keeps repeating his name trying to juggle his memory. He really heard that name before. He just can't remember exactly when and where. He then gets back to work. ”Anyway, he'll be here very soon. I'll get to see him personally.”
