38 The only one for you (1/2)

Eric signed the divorce papers and he gave half of everything he has to Ji An. Obviously, Ji An refused it. Eric insisted that she must take it for Sofia's sake.

Eric doesn't really care about the money. To him, he can earn it again and again but he can't get another Ji An and Sofia in his life.

Ji An thought it through. Eric has a point about Sofia but she doesn't want Sofia to rely on Eric as much as possible. She must know that Eric is not her real dad. Obviously, she will have to tell her that when she's big enough to understand.

On the other part of the world, Cheng Ze made up his mind that he will just try to love Lori. Since there is no more chance between him and Ji An. He will just forget her completely. They won't see each other anymore anyway.

Lori is always by his side. How can he not be kind to her? After being constantly together for 2 months, he found out that Lori is a really good person. Maybe he cannot give her his heart right now but maybe eventually he can give her all of him.

”Babe, do you think we should get married soon?” Lori asks Cheng Ze.

”Hmm... How about this. Let's get married after 4 years hm.” He answered while he held her hand.

Lori sigh ”Why wait for 4 more years? It's the same. Now or 4 years later, I will still be your wife.”

He smiled ”Because I'm not yet ready to be your husband. I'm not confident enough. But I promise you, I will marry you when the time comes.” He kissed her on her forehead and hugged her.

It pacified Lori and all the worries she had vanished. ”Don't look at another woman, only look at me. I'm the only one for you.” She hugged him tightly.

Cheng Ze planned another engagement party for them. He felt bad remembering what happened before.

After a month of preparation, everything is set for the engagement party he had planned for Lori.

It will be held at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing.
