37 Beg and compromise (2/2)

”Okay! I'll just get ready and I'll catch up. See yah!” She responded without looking as she is looking for something in her bag.

Eric came in quietly and sat on the sofa. He watched Ji An quietly until she noticed him.

”What are you doing here?”

”I'm here to beg and compromise. Please don't divorce me. I'll keep out of your way. I wont bother you but let me visit Sofia and don't take her away from me. She is my daugh...”

”She is not your daughter! You knew that from the beginning!” She cut him off.

”She's a child Ji An. She needs a father! Please be reasonable. Don't take that away from her.” He is really trying.

”Okay! How about this. Lets divorce now and I will keep acting as your wife. I will stay in our house. You get to see Sofia but thats it. Between us... its over.” She is very firm with her decision.

”Okay. Give me the papers. Take it to my office when we get back.” He agreed. In that way he will still get to see the two people he love most.

Ji An couldn't believe that he agreed to her terms. He didn't argued about it and just said okay.

”So can we start the act now? And give Sofia a good holiday?” He asked as he is unsure.

Ji An agreed with him. They went to see the town, have some photo taken and act like a happy family. Alice was delighted to see them like this. She doesn't know that all of what she is seeing is just an act and an agreement.

Eric took them to go shopping. Of course Alice loves to shop and buy clothes. While Ji An bought stuff for Sofia.

They ate in one of the restaurant along Edinburgh Old Town. They then went to the National Museum of Scotland, Sofia really like it, though she is not one year old yet, she likes to see things, bright things, colourful stuff and things that are new to her, she likes to find out what it is all about.

They then head to the Castle. Alice and Ji An is so fascinated by the structure of the Castle. There are a lot of people entering the Castle and Sofia is starting to cry. She must be tired. So they tour the inside of the Castle quickly and went out.

They decided to take her home so she can rest. After all they'll be there for a week. So there is plenty of time to tour and see the place.

At the penthouse, Ji An and Sofia will sleep on the bed while Eric will be on the couch. Eric agreed to it too.

The next day they went to see Camera Obscura and World of Illusions and The Scotch Whisky Experience, she doesn't drink whisky but its the experience and learning why she went in.

The third day they went to Arthurs Seat, they hired a nanny for Sofia because its quite a walk and she will definitely not like it.

On the 4th day, they went so see Calton Hill. The view from there is amazing. They can see almost the whole town of Edinburgh. Ji An liked it very much.

On the fifth day, they went shopping to buy souvenirs for their friends and family. Ji An bought a teapot set for Eric's mum. While she got Mr. Watts a pen that Eric pointed to her.

On their sixth day. They visited places where they can chill out and socialise. People there are very friendly.

On the seventh day, its time to go home, they'll be heading to their penthouse apartment in London. Eric is not looking forward going back, he knows he have to sign the divorce papers but he will have to do it. That is the only way.
