Ji An woke up and saw Eric sitting on the chair next to the bed. Eric helped her sit up. ”Hey, how are you feeling? Ji... I... I am really sorry for running away and being a coward. It wasn't.. my intention to.. runaway from my responsibilities. I got scared that you... you will hate me for what I've done. I shouldn't have done it in the first place... I know. It's completely and I'm admitting that it's my wrong doing and.....”

”You took advantage of me when I'm in the most vulnerable state. Maybe your intention was good at first but what changed? Why did you do it? Didn't you think of me as a sister? I'm your sisters best friend.. We've known each other for at least 4 years. Eric you are like a....”

”I've never once thought of you as a sister! You are more than that to me Ji An. The day Alice brought you to meet me, the moment I laid my eyes on you, I want you to be mine. I know you are young but I also know what I feel. I know that you want to focus on studying that's why I didn't court you. I didn't let any woman in my life because I want you in my life. I was willing to wait until you are ready before I confess but that night happened. I didn't get to control my emotion. I'm really sorry for taking advantage of you, but I don't regret this now. Sorry for being selfish.” he explained.

”Yes I do Ji An. I have loved you for 4 years.” Eric.

”Eric I'm 18 and you got me pregnant. You know my dreams you know what I want. Don't you think we are too young to be married?”

”I will always support your dreams Ji, I will never stop you from getting them. I will never let you down. Nothing will change... except of course you will be my wife and we will have a child together. We will have a family together.”

Though Ji An hates Gu Cheng Ze for what he did to her, his face pops up in her mind. She is looking at Eric but she is seeing Cheng Ze. Ji An is trying to convince herself that Cheng Ze means nothing to her after that night but it hurts her. ”Eric I.....”

”I will court you everyday to make up for not doing it the right way.” Eric move close to Ji An and held her face. ”Accept my heart and I promise you, you will never regret it.”

He move closer aiming for her lips. As he got closer Ji An didn't move, she was spaced out. Eric move much more closer slowly but before he get to seal her lips the door open. It's Alice. Eric looked at his sister and looked at Ji An. ”I'll give you some time to think about what I said. You should rest. You need it.” And he left.

”How are you feeling Ji?” Alice sat on the bed where Ji An is. ”I really want us to be family. I hope you can forgive Eric. You know he is a responsible and sensible person. I know what he did is wrong but look, he is making up for it.”

”Alice, to me you are already my sister.”

”Ji An please... My brother is here now. Taking responsibility for what he done. What else do you want? Ji you have us. We are here for you.”

”You know the person I really like... I shouldn't be saying this but...”

”But what? Yes I am fully aware of your childhood love! Come on Ji, how long has it been? Did you met him in China? Did he say he will take responsibility for the child thats not his?!? My brother is here, the father of your baby. Cant you accept him? Have a family? If you don't like him at the moment, I'm sure eventually you will love him.” Alice is trying so hard to convince Ji An.

”Alice..... I met Cheng Ze in China and I still feel that he is the one I love.” She lower her head, after what he done to her, she still say it out loud, she loves him.

”I'm gonna be an aunt for god sake. And I'm gonna fight for it. I want my nephew or niece to have a father.. the real father and that is Eric. Ji An please I'm begging you give him a chance. If you don't want to marry him then just send him to jail. I don't give a %k anymore!” And she left.

Outside Eric heard everything they talked about. ”Alice can we talk?”
