We went down and thanked Bobby, good thing Ethan could slightly walk that I won't need his help anymore.

”Thank you so much Bobby. Please send my regards to Sir Jason. And take care!” I waved bye at him.

”You done?”

I looked angrily at Ethan. ” What is your problem? And this is all your fault, if you didn't get so drunk that you'd need help going home, this would never ever happen.”

He looked away from me. Huh, having an attitude huh? Well, that won't work on me.

”So, seeing you could walk properly now, you go up yourself and tend to yourself while I'm going home.”

I started to walk away from the apartment and wait for a cab. But Ethan held my hand.

I looked at him annoyingly. ”What?”

”Could you stay here with me? Just for tonight?”

I sighed. How many times do I have to explain this to him. ” Okay Ethan listen. For your information, I have a boyfriend now. It's against my conscience to share the same roof with a guy, most especially an ex! I can't do it. I'd be full of guilt and I don't want to live in that kind of life.”

He looked down, feeling dejected.

”Ethan, I really can't. I can help you with something else, but sleeping with you? I'm sorry.”

He continued looking down, and I was getting irritated so I added, ”So if there's nothing else, go up and sleep. I'm going.”

I turned around and started walking towards the waiting shed. But then I was lifted up from the ground.

”Hey!” I looked at the culprit. ” Hey Ethan! What are you doing? Put me down!”

”Ssssshhh. The neighbors would wake up. We don't want to disturb them, don't we?” and he looked at me mischievously.

F*ck. I'm getting tricked again. ”Ethan, put me down!” I whispered angrily.

”No.”

”Ethan, please.”

”Still no.”

”What should I doso that you'd let me go?”

”Accompany me to sleep. Promise we'd just sleep.”

”I don't believe in your promises anymore.”

He looked hurt. Well I don't care. I just want to get away from him. But he didn't answer me, and instead walked towards the building, towards my apartment.
