14 CHAPTER 14 (1/2)
”Oi Ethan! You work around here?”
I was stunned. ”You know each other?”
Ash looked at me. ”Well, yeah. We're buddies during high school. Aren't we Ethan?”
”Yes.” Ethan said while looking at me.
”So where did you guys meet?” Ash asked seemingly oblivious to the situation.
Before I could reply, Ethan beat me into it, ”In college. She's my friend there.” Haha shouldn't you add 'close' there? Seeing we could be so close if we want it?
”Oh wow. What a small world. So would you like to come with us for dinner? I've got to treat this pretty lady.”
Ethan raised his brows. ”Oh you are? Sure. We've got a lot of catching up bro. Won't you mind Cass?”
”Uh no not at all.” I hope this night works out for the better.
I found myself lodged at the back of the cab between Ash and Ethan. I don't know why no one volunteered for shotgun. There I was, leisurely sitting at the back when suddenly the boys opened each side of the car's door and sat beside me. I'm pressed in the middle since the boys all took the space. Why am I here? Oh god help.
We made our way to Luxury Dines. Wow, this guy's rich. He's treating me here? We chose a seat near the window and a waitress apporached us.
”Ma'am, Sir, here's your menu.” I grabbed one and Ethan said politely, ”Thanks.”
What I saw completely shocked me. One dish costs a lot of money. Who would like to pay such big amount for a one-sitting food? No way am I gonna order. This is too much.
I didn't know why but I noticed that the boys are staring at me.
”What? Is there something wrong?”
”Your order, my lady.” Why is Ash always calling me that?
”Uh I don't know. I'm not really familiar with all these.” I said shyly to them.
”She'll have the Stuffed Chicken Valentino.” Ethan said. The waitress thanked and left.
Ash raised his eyebrows then asked, ”Why didn't you ask her if she likes it or not?”
