Seeing that she wasn't moving, the corner of Xian Zihao's lips lifted slightly. He kissed her lightly and looked at her, his gaze changing from black to deeper. He then stroked her hair.

When Sister He heard the sound of the car, she pushed the door open and looked at it. Even though Jiang Ruolan knew Sister He couldn't see them because of the tinted window, she still pushed Zihao away in embarrassment. ”What are you doing? Let's get inside.”

Xian Zihao smiled and kissed her lips again. He looked meaningfully at her and she blushed. He then let her go. ”You get out of the car first. I'll take the car to the parking lot there. I'll be there soon.”

Jiang Ruolan nodded. She opened the door and got out. Her heart was still beating fast, as if she were a young girl who was in love for the first time. She didn't know what to do.

”Didn't you say that you would be back in the afternoon? Why are you late? Oh, you bought so much stuff!” Sister He smiled as she came out and took the plastic bags from Jiang Ruolan's hand. She then glanced at the Land Rover that was driving to the parking lot and asked with a smile, ”Is that President Xian?”

Sister He was in her forties, and she liked to chat with others about things that happened in various families. She also knew a little about Jiang Ruolan's life, so from her expression, she guessed. ”He's finally returned.”

Jiang Ruolan smiled calmly, ”Sister He, are Chiahao and An Na asleep?”

”They haven't slept and are still awake until now. I don't know why these two children are so energetic today. They've been making noise and chasing each other around the house.”

When Sister He mentioned these two children, she couldn't stop smiling. Although she was hired to take care of the children, Xian Chiahao and Xian An Na seemed to have become her fruit of joy.

”Looks like father and children are really connected. With their enthusiasm today, of course they know they're going to meet their father.” Sister He smiled again. Seeing Xian Zihao walking towards them, she exchanged glances with Jiang Ruolan, then brought the plastic bags into the house.

”While you were in America, Sister Yanmei occasionally met with the children. Did she send you more photos?” Jiang Ruolan heard him walk, so she turned around and asked.

Xian Zihao smiled and put his arm around her shoulders before kissing her cheek. ”During these two years of treatment and recuperation, the photos of you and the children are my only spiritual comfort.”

”How long have you been unconscious?”

Xian Zihao hesitated for a moment before sighing. ”According to the doctor, I was unconscious for nearly three months. Although I woke up later, my body's movement was restricted in every aspect due to my injuries.”

”Since you already woke up at that time, then why didn't you call me?” Jiang Ruolan glared at him with hatred.

Xian Zihao just smiled. ”Wouldn't it be better if I returned to your side in good health?”

It went without saying that even though Xian Zihao was awake, his leg bones were so badly shattered that he was not sure that he would be back to healthy as usual. He also did not expect that he would survive. He didn't want to disappoint her if he couldn't recover.
