”Whatever!” Lu Jian ignored him; his nonsensical act was a pain in his ass. Sometimes, he wonders, that his cousin should choose acting as his profession.

”Sister in law, will you not stop this man from throwing me out?” Jiang Wui questioned.

He wanted to remain here and learn more about their plan but his cousin was not giving him a chance to stay here. So, he decided to plead with the most important person in the room; if she says east then cousin would never go west. It can be a sure shot if his sister in law agreed with him.

”Please! little Xiu!” Jiang Wui tried hinting her but Zhen Xiu was busy in her own world. She didn't notice his actions.

Lu Jian was pleased to see that his wife agreed with him on this matter. They need to strengthen their bond. This was the best way; spending their time with each other.

”See, she doesn't want you here. Now out!” Lu Jian warned.

”WU..WU.. You are mean! Fine, I will leave.” Jiang Wui agreed.

Lu Jian sat next to Zhen Xiu and took her in his arms. He was surprised to see her closed eyes with a serene look on her face. She looked like she was enjoying something very pleasant.

He wanted to wake her up but rejected this idea; it was best like this. He wanted to see this peaceful look on her face. It assured him that with him she feels safe. This was a nice feeling which was soothing his heart.

He picked her up and went inside their bedroom. He placed her down and lay next to her.

Lu Jian didn't tell her why he left last night because he was ashamed of himself. He didn't tell her that he went to meet his mother to give her a piece of his mind. He wanted to know that why she did all this to her?

But his mom was completely behaving like a strange person after he confronted her like that way; she said that everything she did was right and it was Zhen Xiu's fault that she had to go throw all those things.

Lu Jian was angry after his mom mentioned all this again but his mom didn't care. In her crazy anger

she hinted something about a secret and told him that his wife was not behaving properly; she was poking her nose in other people's business.

He tried asking her but his mom didn't explain anything after that and asked him to leave.

This was the reason he asked her to leave everything to him.

He didn't want to trouble her again and put her in any dangerous condition. Now, that he has feelings for her and has promised her to solve her problems he will definitely do it.

”I am sorry. I was indifferent to you. I was irresponsible.” Lu Jian said to the sleeping Xiu.

”But this time I will change myself. I will protect you from everything.” Lu Jian promised himself.
