On the other hand, Zhen Xiu was using her consciousness to inspect her space. She was able to access her space and clearly see everything happening inside it.

To Lu Jian, she looked like she was sleeping but she was able to hear his promise while checking her space.

She could access her space now.

But the question was why?

Zoru had informed her earlier that it was not possible?

This was a good thing actually if she can really use her space here too. She focused on her non-stabilized soul and was baffled to see this much progress in just mere few days. How was she recovering so fast?

Although it was dangerous to walk on this path without the help of Zoru she really wanted to know about this and for that, she would do whatever it takes to unveil the mystery.

After carefully analyzing her spiritual link she noticed something else connected to it. There was a light colored thread which was connected to her spiritual link and in turn nourishing its damaged powers.

(Oh! This is the reason for my recovery. Does that mean that the original Zhen Xiu has given her everything to help her soul? Why?)

She wanted to know about this matter but Zoru was not here at the moment to tell her about this.

(I should find it out on my own. I don't need his help. When am I ever depended on others to look after me?) She consoled herself.

Now that she was able to access this space then she could use the library to find about her queries. This new life was a complete mystery to her; there are many things which were hidden here and there.

(Can I enter inside the space without creating something major?) She thought.

But it was impossible for now because her powers although were repairing her soul and spiritual energy; it was not enough to enter inside the space.

It would take too much of her time if she searched in form of her soul.

She was annoyed because of these silly problems.

(What can be done now? Oh! Yes, I can use the soul technique and separate my soul from the body to enter inside the space.)

She decided that she will try this after a few days when her spiritual energy was out of danger. Anyway, that conscious link will definitely heal her at a fast pace.

She opened her eyes after searching her space.

Zhen Xiu saw that Lu Jian was looking at her with a soft look on his face. While she was inspecting her space he had promised to protect her and after that, he didn't say anything more. She believed that he might have slept after his sincere promise.

”You are awake.” She asked him gently.

Lu Jian continued to glance at her. He wanted to capture this moment in his memory, her serene look and lazy eyes looking him; her soft lips whispering at him.

”Hmm…”

”Why are you looking at me like this?” Zhen Xiu asked him unconsciously, his stare was making her feel weird. She wanted to turn away from his intense gaze but was not able to turn away from him. It felt like he has locked her in this place.

”Like what?” Lu Jian asked her.

”Like, you want to… trap me here!” She responded breathlessly.

Lu Jian moved closer and whispered in her ears: ”I do!”

Zhen Xiu took a deep breath after he confirmed her thoughts; his closeness was making her feel strange emotions. She could feel her heart racing faster, her body was sensitive due to his nearness.
