Zoru inside her space was rolling his head at the stupidity of Mother Lu.
”Since you like to irritate me and don't know what is good for you then you can only blame your stupid arrogance.”
Mother Lu couldn't understand now what exactly happened here right now.
”Zhen Xiu just you wait how I will torture you after this.” Mother Lu threatened.
But instead of throwing a snarky comment back at Mother Lu, Zhen Xiu started crying loudly.

”Mom, what are you doing here?” icy voice of Lu Jian rang.
”Lu Jian, control your wife.” Mother Lu voiced out her opinion.
Zhen Xiu kept on wailing. As if the mother and son duo were not even present.
This time Zoru was even more excited to know about the unfolding events ahead.
”Ask your beloved wife?” Mother Lu shrieked and now was happy to see Zhen Xiu crying. She knew that LU Jian would definitely punish her after he will know that she slapped her, his mother.
But all the enjoyment was worth nothing realized Mother Lu soon enough.
”Why are you crying?” Lu Jian asked in his cold voice but now it was laced with soft gentleness.
After he questioned Zhen Xiu she cried more. ”WU..WU…WU…”
”Tell him? Why are you wailing now?”
”MOT..HER, …SHE..”Zhen Xiu hiccupped and continues after wiping her snotty nose.
”She slapped me because you suspended Shen Rui and it was not once but twice. WU…WU..WU”

Mother Lu's world darkened after she heard the shamelessness of Zhen Xiu.

Zhen Xiu fell on her knee in an instant to complete her melodramatic act to its fullest.
”I am sorry, mother. If you really want me to leave Lu Jian then I will go away from him. You can't slander me because Shen Rui told you so. I know you want her as your daughter in law but please wait until I divorce Lu Jian. I don't like all this malicious practice.” Zhen Xiu whispered pitifully and fainted.
