Lu Jian glared at his mother for creating all this mess here and hitting Zhen Xiu. It was a miracle that she is willing to give him a chance again after all this.

But just in a single day, they are back to zero. She was again mentioning about divorcing him.

Lu Jian never interfered before when his mother did something wrong and that was his mistake. Now that he is trying to change himself and make his relationship work well with Zhen Xiu, his mother is destroying all his efforts.

”What is wrong with you Mom? How many times have I mentioned not to stick your nose in official matters? You are my mother and I respect that but I will not allow you to create havoc in my life when I am trying so hard to change myself. You should be happy for me.”

Lu Jian expressed his thoughts and picked Zhen Xiu.

”Are you mad Lu Jian? Use your god damn brain. This low life is lying.” Mother Lu huffed in anger.

She has never been treated like this.

”Mother, you should go too.” Lu Jian warned her.

Zhen Xiu sweetly smiled at him and turned towards Mother Lu. On the other side, Mother Lu was seething in anger to see all this affectionate display in front of her.
