10 Aesthetically simple (1/2)

His first impression on her was that she was polite and sincere. Although she lookssimple and very reserved because of her way of dressing he found it likable. He was only disappointed to know that she has not a single drop of zhenqi in her. She was as good as useless in the world of cultivation. Love is blind indeed.

[Henry's trust to the girl must be unparalleled for him to have the guts to bring her in despite her lack of zhenqi.] He thought.

But no matter, he got to get his grandson a wife to continue their lineage. Just as he was thinking about plan B, the young girl took the sword and brought it to him effortlessly.

His jaw almost dropped upon seeing her with the sword.

[don't tell me that this sword took fancy in girls.]

His thoughts about plan B was suddenly replaced with heartache. He felt cheated. Despite his efforts to gain its approval it chose another person instead. He could have accepted it if it chose a more powerful expert than him. But to think that it was now imprinting itself to the girl who does not have any zhenqi he nearly spurted blood.

He gripped his heart and sat down, trying to calm himself.

[relax at least you will have a great grandson. Yes, a great grand daughter would be good as well. It sure is fun if they had may kids.] he consoled himself.

As he calmed down he noticed that the girl, despite of her innocent smile carried the same aura as Henry, majestic and domineering.

”How did you find the sword?” he asked.

”It's aesthetically simple but attractive sir.” She replied innocently.

He wanted to ask her what her cultivation technique is but obviously she does not have even a drop of zhenqi. He wanted to ask so many questions.

Just then Henry saw the scene and was equally surprised. He approached them and listened as his grandfather explained the origin of the sword. He complimented Madel for being able to carry it with ease. Then he left the two with a wide smile.

Although Henry's grandfather looked stern and vicious he was warm and kind. Henry on the other hand had a mixture of emotion. For one, he did not know how his grandfather could identify Madel as the girl he was talking about.
