Something felt wrong about all of this. I reached for my watch and continued dialing the Authorities in the area. I believed I would just manage to keep the airwave traffic controller up to date, as it was what protocol said to do.

For some time now, Zatland had begun to be pushed by the crowd towards the left side of the road.An Alleyway on the furthest right-hand corner was beginning to look like a decent direction in which he could lose him and make his escape.

He looked behind him at the slightly delayed Zatland, who had just managed to bump into a huge bodybuilder-est guy. Seeing a chance to escape Zatland's vision. He took it and lost Zatland's Trial.

In less than a millisecond, in which Zatland was busy being overshadowed by a stranger, the man had already disappeared from the scene.

Zatland didn't even look up; he began moving rapidly in the opposite direction.

The man in the transmogrifying mask shook his head in disappointment; he began escaping down the opposite side alleyway.

As he moved although fast, it was without a tremendous sense of urgency...

he came to an abrupt halt as his heart beat out of his chest.

Zatland at one point had appeared right in front of him.

He turned on his heels to escape in the opposite direction.

But it was already too late, Zatland lunged at him, like a six-foot-tall leopard.
