Bam!
Their bodies collided, like two big bags of blood, a dull Impact, but if anyone were passing by, they would soon realize that it had to have hurt. Zatland was desperate; if this person were as tough as he believed he was, he wouldn't have a second chance to be the initiator.
Skid
Their bodies collided but they skidded in separate directions from each other, both still standing perfectly upright.
”Ah….shit!” Zatland realized as he got his body rebounded from the man in the mask. The guy was more than half-way stronger than him.
Zatland had used his body as a gauge to find out the man's power. If he impacted the man at full force, based on how far the man got projected, he could tell how much of a chance he stood in winning the battle.
The first rule of fighting in space was always keeping your toes on the ground.
Because gravity could be varied, and somewhat unpredictable, to carry out combat in your own set of battle armor. You needed to know a lot more about how to keep your balance, and were trained in keeping your balance from the very moment you began schooling. Falling on your ass, was a great embarrassment for a military soldier.
It also symbolized death.
Zatland P.O.V
His face when he looked at me, was suddenly vicious, I was scared that he might start a fight because I literally was beginning to discover I had no chance against him.
Using the rebound force to test strength like that was a highly recognized activity, so he already knew he could take me. If my hypothesis wasn't right and this guy wasn't a test, this man could literally kill me in a second.
”so, you're a teacher from the base, right?” I said watching his face closely. A person of his strength wouldn't need a gun to kill a civilian, this man had probably seen battle before. That's how strong he was compared to me.
He frowned at me for a long time frozen in one position. Then he smiled.
”Congratulations, you and your friend pass with a 60-percentile rating.” as he spoke he quickly began typing something into an app in his watch. He smiled at me mischievously,” I kind of wanted all of the kids I was testing to fail.”
His face began to change, and his eyes were narrow when he was smiling. He resembled an Asian man with auburn brown hair and obsidian black eyes. You could tell his eyes bore a special mutation because the shade his eye color was way too dark.
This face of his was more fastidious and handsome. It was probably his normal state.
His acting was superb, even the aura he gave me, from that man I saw in that insurance building up to now, both were completely opposite. The hysterical madness was gone. I looked at him in shock. Someone that could turn into a completely different person in a disguise like that, was talented.
I hadn't spoken for a while so he continued. ” your friend messed up, and ended up not following protocol, if he would have realized that the body was fake we could have ended this sooner.” You have gained 60 percent thanks to your effort, you should be proud.” He said.
I came to my senses and greeted him ” Yes sir, Thank you, sir.”
”especially managing to touch me, I wouldn't have thought, that without your friend alerting you, you would have known I was a teacher.”
When he said that he seemed displeased, was he saying that he underestimated my intelligence?
