While Han Lili says all of this, she can't help but feel guilty.

Su Lian telling her all of this means that she trusts her. She texted her brother to come meet them here, but Su Lian is unaware of this. More importantly, she's clearly not ready for this.

She has to choose between her brother and newly made friend.

Why is everything so complicated?

Does she even have a right to interfere in their relationship?

”Do you love him?”

Su Lian is taken back by her question. ”I-I - yes, I do love him. I never stopped loving him.”

Her voice is extremely quiet, but Han Lili hears every word and immediately becomes delighted. ”Well if you love him, then what's stopping you?”

”I love him, but that doesn't mean I want to be with him. He never cared about me and he even cheated. Why would I want to go back to a relationship like that.”

”No, he didn't.” Han Lili accidentally blurts out.

She could accept any accusation against her brother except him being fickle.

This is something that she will never believe.

The Iceberg is cruel, emotionless, rude, and a bunch of other negative things, but he isn't unfaithful.

He is an extremely loyal dog to all those he accepts as his own. If he doesn't like a woman, he would end things and move on, he would never cheat.

”You don't even know him and yet you're defending him. I thought you were supposed to be my friend.” Su Lian speaks in a jokingly dissatisfied tone.

Han Lili looks at her with a slightly serious expression. ”You say he cheated on you. Did someone tell you? Did you find some girl's things in his house? It could have been his sister's or something, you shouldn't assume.”

”No, I saw it with my own eyes. He was naked in bed with another woman.”
