Chapter 398 - Dropping 100 Hydrogen Bombs (2/2)
Lu Xuan sighed. He knew that there was no doubt that they would be able to kill the entire Myriad Demon Valley if they were to use 100 hydrogen bombs on it. In reality, there was no need to use 100 hydrogen bombs in the first place; even the old atomic bombs that were of far smaller damage potential would have been sufficient for the job.
Nuclear weapons were just that powerful after all.
Despite how frightening Lu Xuan currently was, he was unlikely to survive if someone were to drop 100 nuclear bombs on him.
Even someone as powerful as that old dragon would not be able to survive after being subjected to such a level of attack.
There was no use hiding in the Myriad Demon Valley; there was no doubt that that place itself would have still been razed.
“The problem is that the entire valley is located in another plane before the entire place emerges into the world. You could say that the entire place is on some other dimensions as well. The old dragon has some means that enables him to affect our world, but we currently have no definitive way of hitting the Myriad Demon Valley as we are,” Lu Xuan said.
According to what he knew back in his past life regarding the Myriad Demon Valley’s location and his profound knowledge of space rules, they were actually able to construct a portal leading to the valley.
However, his current level of powers made still made him no match for that old dragon. He would have liked it much better if they were to wait even a while longer. There was no way he would have gatecrashed the enemy’s turf just like that.
The Dragon did not doubt Lu Xuan one bit. He simply said, “No wonder we couldn’t find the place. It was just on some other dimensions the whole time!”
What humans currently knew about dimensions was basically derived from mathematical equations. It was through such calculations that the existence of other dimensions was proven, but there was simply no way for anyone to perceive the existence of other dimensions.
In that regard, science was still far behind cultivation.
While the Dragon already knew that it had always been unlikely for anyone to locate the valley, he was still somewhat disappointed when he heard what Lu Xuan said. The existence of the Myriad Dragon Valley was deemed a thorn in the sides of several nations, which would most likely become a source of massive calamity if not taken out as soon as possible.
“While we currently have no way of taking out that old dragon, there is no doubt that the Myriad Demon Valley is ambitious enough to have been placing their people all over the world. If you guys were to look into it carefully enough, you should have found ways of being able to find them. If you crush all those other affiliated organizations and people, there would be little that the Myriad Demon Valley could do even if they were to emerge into our world.”
Lu Xuan continued, “It’s especially so with places where the monsters gather. Do your best to clean those places out. As long as you guys can clean out the monsters big enough to become a threat, the Myriad Demon Valley would be much less of a threat. Even if they were to emerge at some point in the future, they would be much more manageable if we take them out as soon as possible.”
Lu Xuan recalled how in his past life, the Myriad Demon Valley went on to take the entire continent of Australia for themselves right after they emerged. They were able to quickly rally their forces because of all that power stockpiled throughout the ages they had kept hidden.
Most of those forces were affiliated ones that did not look like much, but having them all gathered in one place could still make them into a terrifying threat capable of shaking the entire human world.
The Dragon heeded Lu Xuan’s advice and nodded. “You have a point, Mr. Lu.”
“Other than that, Mr. Lu, there are other matters that I’d like to ask you about. I wonder if you still have that Tree of Enlightenment with you,” the Dragon then said.
“I do.”
Lu Xuan nodded. The tree had been in Ao Fan’s possession before, which naturally meant that Lu Xuan had it now. Even the likes of Lu Xuan saw it to be of utmost importance due to how precious that tree was.
The Dragon felt rather glad to hear that. The Special Task Force knew a good amount of knowledge about the tree, given that it was not the first time that they came to know about the tree after all. Such a tree had made an appearance an extremely long time ago.
The people from the Special task Force checked all kinds of ancient texts for records regarding the Tree of Enlightenment, which was how they all learned just how precious and mystical that tree was.
“The Special Task Force would have to purchase that Tree of Enlightenment. In that case, we would be willing to pay any price you name for it, Mr. Lu.”
