14 Chapter 11: The Demon Lords Dungeon (1/2)

Oh right. I gained a new skill. I was a bit on my edge so I sort of just used it without thinking.

Only a bit, alright? Just a bit.

Honest.

[Teleport: the ability to bend space and instantly travel to a certain location is granted. The Teleport destination is restricted only to places that has been already travelled.]

Meh… So I can't get out of here using Teleport, huh… That's too bad. I thought I could use it to teleport myself outside of this Forest.

Well, it's still impossible for the current me, even if I did gain the ability to do so.

For one, I lack the necessary information and basic knowledge outside of this forest. For example, humans. What if I encounter one? What if not? What if I did and they decided to turn hostile against me?

I'm an easygoing guy, but I consider things first before anything else. I can't be easygoing if I have to worry about every single thing, right?

Hm? That's not actually being easygoing? You sure? Meh.

Anyways, if I encounter an unescapable situation with my current status, then that's really the end of me. Even if I'm already dead.

I got to learn from my mistakes. Yeah.

On the other hand, it's a definitely convenient skill to have, this Teleport. I can save time just by using Teleport to go back to a place I already went to. Mufufu. That's really nice, very nice.

Alright, time to go to that dungeon and explore its interior.

After activating Teleport and imaging the place that I want to go in my mind, I feel my surroundings began distorting. So this is what it meant by bending space, huh?

Then within a blink of an eye, I already found myself in front of a large rock formation, serving as an entrance to something. By its side is the huge boulder that I set up as a marker.

I never thought that I could just teleport here without searching again for this marker. And to think I was able to do it with ease…

*gasp*

Don't tell me… I just don't know, but…

Was I actually a GENIUS?!

… Nah. A genius won't go his way and meet his death under the lake, after all.

At any rate, Teleport is really a must have. If I take my time floating from the lake to this place, it would have taken me more than a day to travel. But with this skill, I got here in just mere seconds. Mufufu.

I used the Analyze skill while looking at the entrance of the dungeon.

[Demon Lord's Underground Dungeon: It is a dungeon the Demon Lord created to trap any Humans, Faunalias, and Aelves.]

Hey, hey, hey…

Come on. It's suddenly the final stage.

What in the world is happening in this world? Why did I reincarnate near the final stage? I'm already meeting and going to fight the Demon Lord?

Commonly, in stories that have a fantasy settings, there's always the Hero of the Human race, and the Demon lord of the Demon race. It's always the final stage of the story where the Hero will defeat the Demon Lord to save the world. That's usually the setting.

But…

To think I reincarnated near the Demon Lord's crib?

What luck.

I bet my Luck status, if there is one, is actually -1.

And so, I entered the dark dungeon. The dungeon of the Demon Lord.

[Author Note: Here is our paranormal being protagonist entering a place without any information of it. The complete opposite of what he just said.]

A dungeon is something to be explored!!

..

.

*zap*

Whoa. What the heck? Is it already the Demon Lord? It's only been about half an hour since I entered.

Oh. It's not.

An electric current that is forming a net is blocking my way. I've only travelled a few meters from the entrance and now this? Maybe it's a trap of some sort?

As I was considering the possibilities, I felt a numbing feeling ran throughout my body.

*ZAP!*

Wha- I just took damage…

HG: 10,651/10,651

… It's still the same.

Oh, yeah. I had my Reflect skill. Mufufu.

Wait, so does that mean, even if it reflects the attack, I will still feel the damage??

Whoa… Thank goodness I have the Pain Resistance skill…

The damage is hard to notice when you don't feel the pain. It's like I just felt an electrifying sensation and I already know that I took damage. Well, the damage was reflected so I didn't actually receive damage.

But how I should explain this sensation… Hmm… It's like I know that I received a damage even though it was reflected. It's like an alert or something that goes like, 'Hey, someone attacked me.' Then I'll feel a sudden rush in my mind.

Since there was not actually a damage, it's not that big of a deal.

However, the thing is, the source of the attack is capable of attacking me even with my Intangible activated. Before I entered the dungeon, just in case, I activated it to prevent another heart attack just like earlier.

And still, something was able to perceive me and attack me. I couldn't even use the Barrier because it was so sudden. Well, it was reflected anyways, so it's really not a problem. When I encounter such events, I really want a skill that can make me sense enemies…

I look behind me and found the culprit.

Analyze.

Ohhh…!

A Slime…!

It's my first time to encounter a slime in this world.

So there're actually slimes here, huh? Nice, very nice. I'm getting even more excited.

It's like meeting your favorite artist in the street. That kind of excitement. But since I'm not really into artists in T.V's or such, I'll compare it to when you meet a cute pet along the street. That kind of feeling. If I can, I would've already went and pet it.

But…

Ever since it attacked me, it relentlessly attacked me continuously without stopping. Zapping me with its Zoia Magic. Because of that, I'm getting used to this feeling of being electrocuted.
