46 Change of heart! (2/2)

The same thoughts were running through the minds of every monsters in the town right now!

Having contact with them changed their view of humans.

Befriending humans is not a bad thing!

These people are worth dying for!

When they finished preparing all the types of equipment they needed, they began to assemble on top of the wall and looked towards the monsters charging towards the town with determined expressions. Even though they were trembling in fear, they were already used to it. After the first invasion, they began to live their lives hanging by a thread.

They know they will die on this invasion but they still choose to defend the town!

This was the only town that accepted them, gave them food and made them felt secure, so they will protect it until the end to repay the kindness they got from the young man who saved them...

”Roar!”

A loud roar could be heard everywhere as the monsters was approaching the town...

When the monsters was about two hundred meters near the wall, the people felt their hearts skip a bit and they tightly hold their weapons tight to prepare for battle.

They can see the monsters expressions.

It was violent and full of killing intent.

Just looking at them gave them goosebumps.

Just when the people were about to start attacking, they suddenly felt a tremor beneath them!

Everyone was startled at this sudden event, Even the monsters who were rushing forward, abruptly stopped their movements because of the sudden tremor, they also felt shocked in their hearts.

While they were feeling perplexed about it, the tremor suddenly stopped and a complete silence happened in the area for a few seconds.

The people on top of the wall have puzzled expressions. Even the monsters below have a confused look on their faces.

While everyone was feeling strange, a Devilslave monster quickly regained his composure and continue to charge towards the town but before he can take a few steps, he stopped again because he saw something and a shocked expression appeared on his face.

”Hum!”

A ”Hum” sound suddenly rang throughout the vast open field. The monsters were once again shocked by this strange sound and they couldn't help but look at the town in front of them because that sound was coming from inside the town.

Coco and the others were also bewildered. They tried to find the source of the sound and the result was, it was indeed coming from inside the town.

While they were in shock, the wall where they were standing on suddenly began to emit a strange blue light.

Before they could even react, the ”Hum” sound became louder and the strange blue light that was coming out on the wall became so bright that they need to close their eyes to protect it.

Outside Malaya Town, the monsters watched the whole scene with their eyes wide open. Some monsters tried to charge forward but when their bodies made contact with the light, they disintegrated in a blink of an eye.

Witnessing this scene, the monsters got scared out of their wits and decided to retreat a bit to distance themselves on the wall..

But before they could do anything else, the strange blue light shot up to the sky piercing the clouds.

Feeling curious, the monsters turn their heads up to follow the light..

The moment they looked up and saw what it was...

An expression of both fear and despair filled their eyes while watching the strange phenomenon happening in the sky..
