That wretched cry was the only thing the souls of the four Earthen Immortals could utter before Chen Feng erased all signs of life within their soul powers, leaving only some of their memories behind.

Seeing that, the cultivators on both sides grew shell shocked. Only the students from Absolute Academy, those who had witnessed Chen Feng’s feats in the past, had remained calm. These cultivators knew that Chen Feng also possessed Immortal artefacts.

“Sorry, I ended up killing them too quickly,” Chen Feng said smilingly.

All the two Earthen Immortals from Heavenly Sword Faction could do was to reveal wry smiles. At the same time, they felt astounded. They had originally felt some contempt towards Chen Feng. At that very moment, however, all feelings of contempt had been dispelled. All that was left was respect for his strength.

“Attack! Kill!”

Chen Feng shouted and they recollected themselves. Instantly, they assumed the previously-arranged formation and began attacking the enemy force.

The enemy force outnumbered Chen Feng’s force. They even had four Earthen Immortals leading them. Their will to fight had been strong and palpable and they had wanted nothing more than to wipe out Chen Feng’s force in one go.

However, seeing Chen Feng instantly kill off the four Earthen Immortals on their side, the 20,000-strong army lost their balls and their morale fell to an all-time low.

Thus, the moment Chen Feng’s force attacked, the enemy cultivators ran.

Chen Feng and the two Earthen Immortals from Heavenly Sword Faction did not participate in the ensuing fight because it could no longer be considered a fight. It was simply a one-sided slaughter.

They had killed off 3,000 men from the opposing force while the rest scattered, fleeing far away.

“Elder Chen, where did these people come from?” Sword Immortal Great Heaven asked smilingly.

“Of the four Earthen Immortals who died earlier, only one is from Nine Firmaments Palace,” Chen Feng replied coolly.

“What about the rest?”

“Just people trying to take advantage of the situation.” Chen Feng scoffed.
