Then following that the human soldiers finally began to engage Adrasteia.

Countless attack flew towards her. Bullets and magic particles all flying towards her but this did not harm her at all. However, the human soldiers were still not stopping.

Adrasteia looked at the sandbags that were blocking her way. Behind those sandbags were humans taking cover. Just to add, some parts behind the defenses have trenches but on the most parts are just flatland.

”Everyone keep shooting!”

”Yeah! Even if we can't damage them, we'll just keep going and eventually, we'll damage her!”

The soldier said while shooting Adrasteia in their earnest.

All of the soldiers kept pulling the triggers and countless attacks came out flying from their weapons towards their target.

Just to add, the soldiers were quite impressed by the female's outfit. It just fits perfectly to her, and every soldier was captivated by her. She could even probably be a perfect example of a perfect female general that they would gladly follow into battle. However, she is the enemy so they must shoot her down. In addition, they were quite captivated by the figure of her body – her outfit shows a little of her slenderness.

Then after a few seconds what they saw shocked them and made their eyes widen.

”W-What the…”

”H-hh-h.”

”E-Eh.”

What they saw was a floating giant cannon that suddenly appeared on the right side of the female wearing a military uniform.

”What the fuck!?”

”That's a big ass cannon!”

The cannon was as big as their magic cannons. However, the cannon of the female was much better looking than theirs. The cannon has an impressive and complex design, and it has a dominant color of black then the secondary color of gold.

”E-Everyone RUN!”

”Save yourselves!”

Then a blue large beam hit the defenses and killing and destroying everything in its path.

Adrasteia used her skill to conjure the massive cannon.

Adrasteia was a bit surprised by the effects, it caused more damage than expected.

Need to lower it more.

Adrasteia thought.

The cannon did too much damage, so she would need to lower it down, if not she might destroy most of the humans in such a few moments. Her master gave the order to hold back so that can mean they must not destroy the humans that quickly and swiftly.

Thus, she decided to lessen the size of the cannon, and it did.

Adrasteia searched for a target and when she did, her weapon turned to point at the target after that the cannon opened fire and beam of blue light came out of the canon. The magic beam vaporized half the body of the target, so the remains only fell to the ground.

Contented with the effects she continued onward towards inside the human defenses.

She could shoot down the humans but that would take more time. Well, she could just conjure more cannons, but that would only be a waste of mana. Every fire of her weapons cost a little bit of mana, however even if it just cost so little of her mana, that would still be a waste if used on these humans, so she decided to do a closer approach.

Also, it would not be bad if she moves, she thought that sometimes it would be good to move a lot and also this might be a good practice to improve in using her weapons and skills.

When she was now within the defenses, she was surrounded by soldiers and they were shooting at her.

She unsheathed her rapier from her left waist and brandished it, trying to get a feel of it first, after all the humans pose no threat at all.

After that, she conjured another cannon to her left the same size as the cannon on her right.

She peered unto the humans in the surrounding area then she readied her rapier for a swing.

Then both the cannon turned towards their designated side – the right and the left sides of Adrasteia.

She looked at the humans in front of her.

Then both the cannons fired hitting different targets at a time.

Meanwhile, Adrasteia ran to the enemies in front of her, and in an instant, the soldiers were already in reach.

She swung her rapier gracefully with ease cutting every enemy the blade touches.

She swung her blade and humans get fatally cut and blood spilling from their bodies. However, Adrasteia kept dodging the spray of blood, trying not to stain the clothes her master gave to her.

She moves towards any enemy that she sees and when are in reach she swings her blade and enemies cut fatally cut and body parts were dismembered and innards flying out of their bodies.

However, everything that she cuts gets sliced cleanly.

Her cannons were firing at the humans and when she called for them mentally, at a great speed, the cannons quickly returned to the sides of Adrasteia.

A human soldier was near Adrasteia and was rapidly shooting her with his magic weapon. Adrasteia turned to look at the soldier and she pointed one of her cannons at the soldier.

In the surprise of the cannon, the soldier shrugged and frantically stepped back in panic. As the soldier was trying to get away he slipped but luckily he supported his body with his hand and he quickly stood up. However, as he looked up facing Adrasteia, what he saw was not the female wearing a military uniform, but what he saw straight and near his face is a muzzle – mouth – of a cannon. The soldier knows what this cannon is, and his eyes widened and his heart throbbing greatly.

Knowing his fate, he loosened his body then.

And within the mind of the soldier, he said along the line of ”Oh shiiiit.”

BOOOOOSSSHH.

He got vaporized.

Then Adrasteia continued on to engage the human soldiers all around.

The humans were puzzled in those floating guns. The guns can open fire without someone operating them was something they couldn't understand, plus the cannons just suddenly appeared out of nowhere and that is shockingly surprising, they were trying to shoot down the cannons but it was to no avail, it seems they can't even damage the cannons.

Many of their allies were vaporized by the cannons in a flash, and this increased the soldiers' anxiety.

Also, there's the other one, the female's movements were too fast to follow. Even when they're shooting her down, it still has no effects on her. And what scared the humans most is when the military girl gets near them and get cut down in what they see as cutting down in a brutal and clean way.

But it's not exactly brutal.

However, even in the current circumstances, the soldiers were still fighting back. They may be afraid, but their resolve is what drove them to fight, even when their enemies are invulnerable.

That's good soldiers. Fight, for that is all you can do. Fight for my master. Die for my master.

Adrasteia thought then she smiled tenderly behind the mask.

I am the one who brings the wrath of the Lord. I am the one who hammers down the Lord's wrath on his enemies. I, Adrasteia, a loyal servant of Lord Xyn Draven Nightfall, will follow the master and fulfill his orders on whatever end. I will destroy his enemies and will safeguard him even at the cost of my own life.
