46 Chapter 46 – Zhu Clan’s Shock (2/2)
The match started in both the arena. Zhu Xuan started observing fights in both the arena. He was mainly looking forward to the fight of his tenth sister and Bai Ling. Others he didn't mind because he was sure with his power, he can get the first place even though he is only at tenth level if he released three elemental roots.
First was Bai Ling's match since her number was in the front. She already reached ninth level from the seventh level in the past three months. Her opponent was only an eighth level from Fang clan and she won the fight easily with her long range attacks.
Next was Zhu Meiying's fight. She is already at the peak of ninth level of body purification stage and only a step away from the tenth level so she won her fight easily. Zhu Xuan also noted down few disciples who he thought would be the top ten disciples in his arena.
Finally it was his turn after waiting for a while. He got on the arena and his opponent was also at the tenth level of body purification stage, a burly guy from Juan clan called Juan Cang.
Juan Cang looked at Zhu Xuan with disdain and said loudly ”The trash of Zhu clan who couldn't even activate his elemental roots reached such a level so fast. You must have used lots of pills to rush to your current level.”
Not just Juan Cang, everyone else in the venue also thought that Zhu Xuan used pills to rush to the tenth level of body purification stage and had an unstable foundation. Only Zhu Jia Li and Zhu Meiying know that he has a very stable foundation and he is way too stronger than the others at his cultivation level. Zhu Meiying still remembers how her brother killed the demon spider in the Black Winds valley casually when he was at ninth level of body purification stage.
Referee sounded to start the fight and Juan Cang said with a mocking tone ”I will give you a handicap of the first move so that others don't think I'm bullying you.”

Zhu Yang stood up again with shock and wondered ”How did he become so strong in short period of time and looking at how he fought, even though it's just a single move, he has a very stable foundation. What kind of fortuitous encounter did he come across in Snowcape Demon Mountain to get this strong in a short period of time? I need to somehow get it from him.”
Zhu Xuan didn't bother with anyone and slowly walked down the stage.
Referee finally came to himself and announced ”Winner Zhu clan's Zhu Xuan”
At the moment of his announcement, the area exploded with noise. Everyone was shocked with how Zhu Xuan won. Zhu Jia Li and Zhu Meiying felt proud for Zhu Xuan and smiled happily whereas everyone else from Zhu clan had a face of anger, sadness, guilt, envy. Zhu Xuan though wasn't bothered by any of this and continued observing the match.
The day ended with two rounds of arena fight. Zhu Xuan's second fight also an easy win against a tenth level fighter from Fang clan. He eliminated him easily by kicking him out of the arena.
