100 Chapter 13: Winter, Griffin’s back (2/2)

”Stop, harassing her. I only overheard a phone conversation.”

”You must have been watching quite closely to overhear a phone conversation,” Rose said, it seemed that she wasn't smiling this time, catching June off balance as he finally got the vibe from her that screamed, she doesn't like him.

June was somewhat shocked as he is used to most women fall for him.

”Then you misheard her, and I'm not the father” Anthony blatantly ignored Rose's comment ”This is a warning do not expose this” he turned around and grumbled off.

”Sorry, for exposing you like that.”

”Its okay, but, as you can see, I think Anthony is right that. We should stay away from each other” Rose turned away from him and was about to leave.

”Hey, wait” he pulled her back to face, allowing him to catch a glimpse of disgust in her eyes

”I Must Go,” Rose said as she turned around to leave once more.

After school had ended, Rose walked to the pre-school that was watching Winter for the day when

Jean called out to her.

”Oh, Jean we seemed to meet a lot recently” She looked at his out of breath stated, ”Or is it not a coincident.”

Jean walked Rose back home with Winter in his arms. They seemed to have warmed up to each other quiet nicely. She stopped when she saw the all too familiar car pulled up out-front of the apartment building. She took Winter out of Jean's hand and waved him goodbye, as she stepped inside.

Griffin stood up when he saw her ”I'm here to take you back.” Rose saw that her Aunt and uncle were just quiet. Jake was nowhere to be seen. It seems they were leaving the decision to her.

”Alright, I'll get ready.”

The ride back was quiet as she sat looking at the necklace wrapped around his hand.

”You have questions for me, don't you?” she asked

”But ones that can wait until I'm fully prepared to hear them” He handed her the necklace.

Rose took it back in her hands as she lightly touched, this was the last gift she received from her adoptive parents. She put the piece back on her neck the had been bare for four years.

”Thank you, for giving it back.”

”Do you want me to see him.”

Griffin shocks his head ”Not yet.”

It was the fat maid that greeted her first when walked back into the mansion. Griffin was carrying Winter in his hands.

Anise screamed when she saw Rose.

”I'm back,” Rose said emotionlessly

”Why, did you bring her back,” Anthony said

”I told that Rose and Winter are a part of this family.”

”Just because you are this house doesn't mean you can force your way. You're not always right.”

Anthony said as he walked away before giving a final glare at Rose. Anise chased after him

”You don't need to take care of the house chores anymore. Your free to do want you to want”

”Thank you very much” Rose replied as she went back upstairs to her room.
