”….”
”You will be receiving the same salary. So, don't worry.”
”I understand” Rose responded with a smile.
Which ticked Anna off ”How impertinent. Then stop talking and hurry up and prepare dinner.”
Rose walked into the kitchen, the fat maid following behind her. ”Don worry I'll help you.”
”No, worry. I can handle this on my own” Rose stopped the maid from picking up anything in the kitchen. It took her only a few minutes to get the maid to leave. After all, things like this were amazingly comfortable.
It didn't take Rose even 30 minutes to prepare and extravagant meal, she had called the Anna and Anise down for dinner with an easy smile. Anna made sure to cruelly criticize her cooking while Anise ate every little bit of it.
Hopefully, the days can pass by quickly.
Rose walked into the school gate, June had come and greeted her as he walked by her side with a smile. He knew full well that Anthony was looking. Rose also knew as she smiled sweetly at him, making, his face flush again. She turned to head toward her class as her smile dropped into a focused glare, which disappeared when walked into her class.
When school was over going back to the mansion very happily, what would usually be a 30-minute drive? Rose could do in 10 while walking, she has many tricks up her sleeves. And getting back home early to see her son giggling face was all worth it. Even if she would come back to the new daily routine of clean and having her cooking heavily criticize.
Yes, that's right, For Rose they only thing she should have ever cared about is not the expectations or the cruelty that came with the family but the smiling face she comes home to every day.
