96 Chapter 9: Winter, Trick of the Silver Spooned Family (1/2)
The past month went by with Anthony and his Mother pulling tricks to get her to leave. Griffin had even decided to send Rose to the same school as Anthony. The school knows her situation and isn't too hard on her about at least that is a good thing. Michelle often called to check up on her, as well as her an update on her next book. Jake seemed to have come out of his daze, and his parents are happier with stable jobs and a new house that Griffin gifted to them. They are willing to take money from anyone else but Ashlyn, How tragic.
Rose knows full well that Anna, Anise, and Anthony won't warm up to her. And she doesn't expect them she has three months left before she can move freely. She wants this page in the story to be over with already.
She looks dazedly into the sky as she sits on a bench on the roof of the building. She never made much contacted his family willingly much to the old man's disappointment. But, what can she do it wasn't as if she was dumb enough to gladly walk into a web? They don't like, and they don't want anything to do with her.
She wonders how Winter is doing right now? He has a babysitter right now, so he shouldn't be lonely.
”HI!”
”Oh, Hello, again” Rose recognized this person, as he would often pop-up in front of her, only greeting her thought, with a somewhat flushed face, his name is June.
”It was nice seeing you again” he waved as he left. The man was pretty handsome, but his face reeked of something she was all too familiar with.
The day ended pretty fast as she walked back into the mansion. Griffin left for his business trip today,
Rose, knows all too well that things are about to go sour.
”Your home” Anna said as she walked up to Rose ”From today on, your expected to be home immediately after school. You are to cook and clean.”
”Am I being fired” The fat maid said in shock
”you will only work when she is at school. You don't have to come on the holidays.”
